The Environmental Protection Agency could soon allow chlormequat, a pesticide that may harm children’s health, on non-organic wheat and oats used to make hundreds of popular food products. Hear from EWG experts on what you need to know about this chemical.

Thank you for getting this wrod out. I've felt like a voice crying in the wilderness for nearly two decades about the dangers of these agri-chemicals. This poison you've outlined here is truly horrible, but none of them are good for us, or our enviroment, nor for any living creatures that share our planet with us.

No, it shouldn't because it is rank disinformation -- chlormequat isn't a pesticide at all!

Why does EWG rate products with the exact same chemicals differently? For example Octisalate in sunscreen is state as being a chemical that cant be in the recommended products yet it is in many recommended products including lip balm with SPF! and why are some products with Octisalate refer to the ingredient as a 4 while others rate the same exact ingredient as a 7??? Is it just a way to promote certain companies over others??

I agree with using less chemicals but your videos and numbers are misleading. It looks like they are spraying when they are harvesting which is not correct. The only number given was 92% of the people but no numbers on how much they have in them. And how does it compare to other Chemical it is replacing. What is its LD50? You want to get on something most people do not know is the farmers are spraying roundup on the wheat before it is harvested to ripen it and they can not the practice since they can not compete so the people need to demand it not be sprayed before harvest with their purchasing power.

They've done it all. What do you think scientist do all day. There are laboratories all over the world studying anything that you can think of. It's about getting control of the human population. Out of all the things in the world that kills humans. Our birth rate still over shadow's the death rate. There are people being born in areas of the world that can't support this high births. So there are people that make decisions that no one else will make. Do you remember when the Census was in September or October of 2020. If I'm not correct on the year you still know what I'm talking about. It's when the Pandemic of the COVID-19 virus started. It was really a part of population control, but it didn't work. Because they lost control of the virus. At least that's what they wanted us to think. It was mainly in countries that had large populations. Even Bill Gates got involved in making a vaccine to slow it down. Only thing was, people wouldn't take it in Africa. There is so much more to say but you didn't hear this from me.🤪 Nah I was just joking. They do this to us all the time. We're going to have a nuclear war, an Asteroid is heading straight at Earth, and it will be all over. That's only to keep us distracted from what's really going on. So stay safe, and look both ways when you cross the street. 🤣😂🤤😎

@@keltic341thoughtyouknuskii34 It's a generalization. To be specific, since chlormequat is not a pesticide of any kind and the Environmental Working Group must know this, I am forced to conclude that the Environmental Working Group resorts to deliberate deception. It would have been so easy to describe chlormequat as a poisonous plant growth regulator, but the Environmental Working Group chose to falsify the nature of the chemical.

We’ve been using Chlormequat on most cereals in Europe and the UK since the 1960’s, with issues. Like all things including water, excessive amounts will cause problems. No farmer would be stupid enough to exceed the recommended dose of it on his crops! Not only would it be prohibitively expensive, but he would shorten the straw length of his crop so much that they would become disastrous to harvest. So get a grip! There really isn’t a problem with it.

This chemical is linked to the reproduction or development of animals. So believe me they knew what they were doing from the beginning. I'm no scientist, but I believe it has something to do with a way to slow down the rate of the human birth rate. You do know that it's over 8 billion people in the world. That's why they have war's, allow Cigarettes to be sold, Alcohol to be made, as well as Drugs to be sold, and Gun's. If you don't get it now. You never will. It's just that this is the world that we all live in today. The worlds moto is ' That some must die, so that other's may live ". 😵‍💫 Are your eyes 👀 open yet. People have been knowing this for years. Now you know. 😔 Just keep praying for peace of mind. We going to need it. Because there is more to come. 😵‍💫⚠️🤤😎

It's used in Grains like Oats Wheat and Barely. Get this, it says that this chemical keeps the stalks of these plants from growing longer. To keep them from bending in the wind , and make it easier to harvest. What kind of crap is that. What about the people that eat these grains. It must be more to this. There not telling us everything. They started the study on this chemical in 2017, so why are they telling us now about it. I eat Oatmeal almost every day. I didn't make this up. I'm just keeping it real with you. 😔👍😎 Wow I just looked at the date of your comment, and it was 8 months ago. 😵‍💫 I just found out now on the News about 15 minutes ago. 😵‍💫🤤⚠️👎😎
