Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie - No Bake - No Fail - Father’s Day Dessert - The Hillbilly Kitchen
I have never met a man who doesn’t love peanut butter. This pie is the perfect blend of chocolate and peanut butter, making this creamy treat the ideal dessert for your Father’s Day Dinner. It is so simple and easy you will want to hang on to the recipe for all your summer cook outs and anytime you need a quick impressive dessert, even holiday gatherings. You can prepare it in just a few minutes, it lasts for days in the refrigerator, is easy to transport to potluck dinners and it is absolutely delicious.
This pie is sure to become a family tradition and most requested dessert for all special occasions. The taste and texture of the pie is very similar to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Normally a pie serves 8 people. You can easily serve 12 people with this pie, and everyone will be satisfied. The pie is very rich.

1 cup Heavy Cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla

I grew up without my father. Last June, after 60 years he & I connected! It has been the most wonderful experience. You are so right in your comment on this topic. The healing that has happened over this past year has been incredible. I feel so lucky & blessed that he is still alive, well & strong at almost age 82!! Due to covid & a 2,000 mile distance - so far we've only met on video chats, phone calls & emails. But those are 3 things we never had before. Later this year we WILL hug each other for the 1st time ever.

Chocolate and peanut butter 🥧,hmmm,that hits my taste buds good,I've always enjoyed this combination of flavor together,we were brought up eating peanut butter toast dipped in coffee with creamer and sugar for breakfast,grandma had 10 children,and about 60 or so grandchildren,so she spent her money sparingly,but never failed to feed us all good. I'm so glad Becky u shared this memorable pie recipe for father's day. My first thought was, "Buckeye Pie.". We've used the same recipe to make 'buckeyes' at Christmas. How cute is it going to be when I cover the center with something round and put the chocolate on to make it look like a buckeye! And no tedious making all the little round balls. So true about the men! I had 4 brothers and my Daddy as my guinea pigs. Back then when Mom was teaching or my Granny they ate anything. Even my first 2 layer with blue frosting that fell over lol! I enjoy your recipes and your spiritual messages . Sometimes it’s not reasonable to expect people who prepare thaws videos to answer everyone , I think your spiritual comments are inspired and reaches out to help probably more then anything else could . I seen my pastors wife at the grocery store I smiled and waved and said hello but I was in a hurry and I figured she was too . I passed her several times and each time different people would be talking to her and especially one lady , then after 45 minutes I was checking out I seen her still near the front not moved and still there was this one lady . I thought how does she ever shop ? No wonder I don’t see her at the store much I bet she has to go out of town just to be able to get her shopping done , bless her ♥️ heart. This looks SO GOOD!!I made a different version for Christmas last year, I could have just stood there and ate it all. LOL ( I did lick my fingers and the bowl) but the disappointment came later on after dinner, we went to cut it and it had just melted everywhere 😪 it was cream cheese based, that was why. I should have put it in the fridge or freezer while we ate. Hindsight is 20-20.

Hi Becky, I made this pie today, 6/26/21; oh my goodness...this pie is soo rich! I only made the filling for it and put it in an Oreo crust that I purchased because I didn't have time to make my own crust. Instead of topping it with melted chocolate, I scattered mini Reese's peanut butter cups on top of the filling. I figured the calories for the pie, which I cut into 6 pieces...around 910 calories per slice...ouch...but it was so good!!! Blessings to you and yours.

Made it today and we absolutely love it! I couldn't find chocolate whipped topping, so my husband suggested adding chocolate syrup to whipped topping and beat that. It worked great!

My Dad passed away when I was young... Christmas 1979. After that, I've had uncles try to fill that void... Mom did the best she could. Things happen, and you have to deal with them and make things work. It ain't always easy, but you have to get through it.

My husband's going to love this one. Hes a Peanutbutter on anything lover. Especially IceCream. Gotta make it for him, only without the chocolate. Thank you for another awesome pie recipe. Love in Christ Jesus, Also, I just absolutely love your country accent.
