I think the reason why bowser is so furious in this game is because Bowser Jr. found out the password to Bowser’s Nintendo Switch Parental Controls and turned them all off.

I was so disinterested in playing as a normal-sized Gigacat Mario after getting 100% that I never even noticed Meowser Jr., that’s fricking adorable. Edit: I remember seeing the 100% Painting and was like “Oh, that’s cool. Are we gonna see that in the game? No? Ok.” Completely Blind.

Fury bowser has probably become my favorite final boss ever fight. This is a fight that I never get bored fighting it. And the music they added to the fight is just quality.

Another nice detail in this game that further solidifies this as the best Wii U port is the QoL improvements to 3D World. Things like the online multiplayer and the overall improvement to character speed. There's a bunch of things that they didn't have to do and yet they did.

I remember speedrunning this run & even with D-pad up disabled which made my inventory useless & they were both so fun, though with D-pad up disabled harder giant bowser was so much harder that it was actually really difficult, also i'm not using vectoring or atleast not yet, because i'm not skilled enough yet & i'm not using that 1 trick on ice either because quite clearly a glitch & i prefer speedrunning glitchless, just purely, actually... even though technicly vectoring is part of the move, i believe it was not intended to exist (i believe that's the case because it kinda feels like a weird tech but i'm not 100% sure) though i do the double climb which i think is also not intended, so i'll think about itif i'll do a speedrun with vectoring involved, just thinking about it because i only pirate / download roms from older console / handheld generations if that generation doesn't sell anything (without being second handed) anyway & i have no idea about recording on switch & putting what i've recorded on pc & stuff, i feel like that if i'm gonna try i have no cleu with what i'm doing, so for now i stick with private speedruns / speedrun training
