Alright gents I have the same issue. Now I might know as much as you guys do, BUT I have now been diagnosed with celiac disease as of December 2023. There are ideas and theories that urticaria is auto-immune related, and other studies have shown a decrease in hives when vitamin d deficiencies are addressed, or just vitamin d is increased since it regulates immune responses. I always noticed the more exercise I got and the more I would sweat It would decrease my reactions... but that's just me. I now go and sit in the sauna as often as I can and it usually isn't so bad anymore. All food for thought. Hope this helps somebody! It's a true nightmare, I had one day my hives were so bad I ripped my shirt off in public and was frantically scratching myself like a crackhead!

I'm suffering from urticaria since October, i have tried many type of medication and that just help temporarily. If i miss even a single dose the symptoms start showing. And i don't know the reason.... I don't know what to do. Just taking medicine on daily basis twice a day to get some relife. Even now I'm also having vaccine but still not getting rid of it completely.

I have this and I live in a mostly hot and humid place..imagine this. I hate it. And I'm desperately trying to find clothing chains with skin friendly/ quality materials like linen and cotton that are not super expensive and anything I find is usually very expensive or has very expensive shipping fees..

Well, watching my hives and inflammation dissolve every day until it all disappeared was definitely appeasing, I went with what I mentioned and after 20 days my urticaria/angioedema disappeared. I just go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and now my skin is as smooth and healthy as it has ever been!

Urticaria’s and cholinergic urticaria aren’t exactly the same thing. As far as what causes it and what can help it. the same solutions won’t work with everyone, I have cholinergic urticaria and it’s actually an allergy to your own sweat/heat/tears. If I’m in the sun for long I’ll get hives on my neck and arms, and if I don’t go into the hot sun I’m fine. I don’t take any medicine at all, if I have the heat up too high in a humid room, it gives me hives. Nothing helps me besides staying out of the sun and staying in a cold room/not working out until the point of dripping sweeat unless I can rinse my face with cold water and be in a cold room whilst doing so. If you know your allergy that’s the best solution…. Once I found out it was the sun/heat/ or me working up over exertion’s I could manage staying cool. Idiopathic urticaria is not cholinergic. This is misleading information. If someone has urticaria it just means “hives” in general. For example, If you’re allergic to berries you might have the same symptoms but for a different reason, BUT my solution staying in the cold, will not solve your problem if you you’re allergic to your berries or if yourself allergic to laundry soap as it will solve mine cause they’re different. If your doctor didn’t find a cause, see another doctor. It took me 4 years and 3 specialists until one found out the issue. It’s been 16 years and I still have this allergy except I manage it and haven’t had any huge hive breakouts since. There are many types of allergies, some people have irritation to bed sheets that aren’t silks smooth … it could be anything. You guys aren’t doctors and shouldn’t be suggesting ways to help peoples skin conditions if you don’t know what the cause is

Hi mate, we suffered with cholinergic urticaria which is why the video includes cholinergic urticaria specifically in the title. Also the underlying cause of CU is unknown, and in almost every case it arises spontaneously - this is why it’s called idiopathic. The one thing that can be asserted is that it usually follows a rise in core temperature. As you said different solutions will work for different people. All we can do to try and help other people going through this is give them hope that it will get better, and share our own experiences regarding what worked for us. It took me 3 years to figure out what worked for me in terms of managing symptoms - if I can help someone figure that out a lot quicker, of course I will do so. I would urge you to reflect on your mindset, your comment comes across as ignorant at best and spiteful at worst.

Also if you don’t already, try moisturising your skin my friend. I had severe CU that would flare up in any hot place, especially a stuffy room but when my skin is not dry, and I’m not stressed I was able to even sunbathe in very hot temperatures. However if my skin is dry I can’t even stand being in a room that is warm. Again this may not work for you but there’s no harm in trying it.
