The new firmware they added for the extreme after you cutout makes it very safe. I tested the new firmware with 50% PWM alarms and it worked perfectly. I'm absolutely loving my extreme minus the messed up coil shock which should be resolved very soon.

I started ride Euc this year bought my self Z10 as first one and now I’m waiting for V14 thanks to you . Surprising enough I haven't had any issues with suspension and was at a bike park. I guess weight difference. Also the 2400wh is good but I still don't trust the wheel even under 50% as much. I personally prefer wheels above 50%. Thanks for the videos btw. I got the wheel before you even uploaded the video of the cutout and it made me nervous but I have had good things with it.

The V13 lacks low-end torque. If you want fast acceleration from low speed, get the V14.

I think as soon as there is an opportunity to compare Extreme and Adventure head-on: -Acceleration to 50-60 (to understand in what range the explosion is) -Maximum speed at 85-87% pwm -Power reserve at average 35-40km/h -The width of the legs with pillows -How much is it convenient to lay in turns (briskness) -Center of gravity (who has higher) -The maximum angle of ascent uphill *The caveat is that this should be done on the same tire, with the current firmware and with the same driving mode, with the same pillows. I think such a review - comparison will go to everyone. Personally, I would be very grateful, it would help me decide. Between my favorites Adventure or Extreme. There is also the Commander mini, but many do not consider it at all, although it seems to me that it is also an option, it would be possible to add it to the review / comparison, as well as EX30 and Patton.

i bent my pedal on the my first kinda big jump, and i didnt even bottom out nor did I crash. I also find it struggles to get up to 45 plus for me personally, i got the 2400wh version so I dont have as many issues w/ battery life. i have to buy mine through alienrides as ewheels would not even sell me a 2400w only a 1900 wh t40 version.

Nice review. Do you still have your v12? How do you feel about it compared to all these new wheels. Also, I don't see anyone making comparison videos anymore. I would love to see those again on any of the wheels that came out since 2022. Also, you have to be my favorite rider to watch when I don't have time to take my own wheel out. Thanks!

Hey @choochtech! Awesome video and even better skills! You are a top tier rider, that is for sure. I was gonna mention that Begode has made some changes to the extreme recently where the firmware gives more warning before cutting and they have now gotten rid of the older 50E cells because they have huge voltage sag issues. The 40T holds voltage much better even though it's lower watt hours, it's a much higher performance cell. The new 2400wh battery is using a 50S cell that's even better than the 50E and completely fixes several of the issues with the previous versions. I also noticed they made the shock linkage much much stronger fixing the bending issue you've had as well. I'd be really curious to compare the newest offering to the one you've had as it seems to have addressed a lot of the concerns on this one. For me the suspension is the biggest appealing factor and really makes me want one. Just curious to know if you've looked into that and if you were planning on testing some of the updates to see if your overall impression changes for the better on this wheel?

Great Video. I've ordered the Extreme, and I'm hoping for delivery soon. I'm Upgrading from V11 after 14,000km. I'm not too concerned about cutouts because I'm not going to be pushing it for long periods up steep mountain passes in the Rockies. Its pretty flat where I live here in Perth Western Australia so I wont be able to put that much stress on the batteries going fast up big long hills. Mostly I'll be trail riding on rough rocky terrain where Ill average less than 30kph and probably be maxing out at 50-60kph on very short bursts so Im hopeful I can avoid cutouts. I cant wait long enough for the V14 Adventure, but if the V14 is that awesome I may upgrade again later because I have had a very good run out of the V11.

I think maybe because it's made out of metal, it drains the battery faster because it's heavier.

This using 40T battery is a big mistake. The motor already get higher torque from higher voltage. Of course high discharge can get a little bit more torque. But I think the motor is designed with higher torque with higher voltage. So the 40T is just get depleted faster than the 50E but not much on the torque improve

Great video idea! I just wear a high quality ski thermal shirt and long johns. I pretty much wear it everyday in the winter. not just riding euc. But the base layer is what makes it possible.

v13, is my favorite. There is no comparison until something else comes out. If I could keep one wheel for everything it would be the v13 by far. Nothing else holds a candle to it. Its expensive but worth it.

apparently now they offer 50s batteries in exchange for the 40t. 50s are better. but extreme comes with 50e by default

Tbh I figured, since my V12Hs is slowly dying and losing its value, I will be trading it in for a smaller wheel that offers high durability (My Motor rim literally exploded and destroyed my tire during one ride) I have 2K km on it, I did get a replacement motor and everything , but for now I plan to have to wheels in the future instead of 1 do it all, since unfortunately V12hs isnt do it all, it was amazing at top speed on streets, but the hard off road killed it. I will be getting the updated Mten4 aka Begode A2, and then later definitely some sort of High speed demon.

I rode 27 miles of trails yesterday and I ended with 3 bars (62%) battery. IT IS NOT MADE TO GO FAST ON THE STREET. I don't know why that's so hard for people to understand. It's a trail wheel that can go on the street. Put it to a real test.... on the trails.

For sure. Especially with the 40T battery. You don’t get an EUC with 40T battery if you want to stretch out the range. Hopefully there will be a 50S version. Would love to see a review of that by Chooch!

@@skylinesquid So far so good!! I bought a second extreme (50s) for a backup / longer range wheel and I love it just as much!! The only modification I have done was to install pedal risers and a set of Grizzla pads.

Eh can i post my 5c ? A 2000wh wheel is not really a highway wheel, smaller diamerter wheel to aint it. But around town and trails i bet it does pritty good. Im still sketchy on your pwm 80%? Tiltback not set? Hay dont say its not me on your wheel. The old monster v3 has 2400wh it goes a very long time at say 50kph, tilts me back at maybe 55kph. 4 hours later dood my feet need a rest anyway. The big wheel is nice an d stable but theres no suspension. I have not ridden the extreme but it kinda looks like it does ok in its field. 2000wh class, suspension. I dont think its ment to be a highway road wheel. A bigger closer to road wheel is 3000wh plus. 3600 seems kinda more common. 4800wh at heavey cruzer end. Anyway it must be able to fang from a start and peel most trails, eh 2c opinions. Enjoy the up sides. See how it fits somewhere. Enjoy every second you can Chooch. Eh seems easyer viewing than a cry fest.

40t battery range is terrible, 50e or better still the 50s batteries, my Master which has 40t batteries eats battery and the C40 motor is thirsty AF!

Downside of 50s is you get less charging cycles

@@BANGbucketHEAD This could be false, as well as for 40t, since you use way less than max output on average. For ex. 40t --> 250 cycles to 60% is at 35A continuous and max charge, and they should heat up less equaling it out even further.

If you have battery problems change to a bigger discharge amps batteries. you'll lose 5-10% milage but you'll get way better and stable overall performace.

Dont sleep on the commander mini. I just picked up that 🛞 and it is amazingly surprising. The wheel is an all rounder with 2400wh. 90ish pounds. I have been trying to acclimate to it and it does take time to fully gel with a machine. Extreme bull really gave up a solid offering.
