CFTC RULE 4.41 - HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN
Trading performance displayed herein is hypothetical. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance trading results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
U.S. Government Required Disclaimer - Commodity Futures Trading Commission Futures and Options trading has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk. You must be aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in the futures and options markets. Don’t trade with money you can’t afford to lose. This is neither a solicitation nor an offer to Buy/Sell futures or options. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those discussed on this web site. The past performance of any trading system or methodology is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Trade at your own risk. The information provided here is of the nature of a general comment only and neither purports nor intends to be, specific trading advice. It has been prepared without regard to any particular person’s investment objectives, financial situation and particular needs. Information should not be considered as an offer or enticement to buy, sell or trade.
You should seek appropriate advice from your broker, or licensed investment advisor, before taking any action. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Simulated performance results contain inherent limitations. Unlike actual performance records the results may under or overcompensate for such factors such as lack of liquidity. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses to those shown.
The risk of loss in trading can be substantial. You should therefore carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition.
If you purchase or sell Equities, Futures, Currencies or Options you may sustain a total loss of the initial margin funds and any additional funds that you deposit with your broker to establish or maintain your position. If the market moves against your position, you may be called upon by your broker to deposit a substantial amount of additional margin funds, on short notice in order to maintain your position. If you do not provide the required funds within the prescribed time, your position may be liquidated at a loss, and you may be liable for any resulting deficit in your account.
Under certain market conditions, you may find it difficult or impossible to liquidate a position. This can occur, for example, when the market makes a “limit move.” The placement of contingent orders by you, such as a “stop-loss” or “stop-limit” order, will not necessarily limit your losses to the intended amounts, since market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders.

This is a powerful video; it brought back memories when I used combo of 0.618 Fib and prior pivot on every push below an MA to enter on pullbacks. I totally got distracted with other things and stopped using it. This thing works and ICT made a science of it. Awesome job Trevin!

Thanks for covering multiple dealing ranges, most KZfaqrs only focus on one at a time in and it’s very helpful to see how to dealing rages can work with each other. Also helpful to see you move the top of the dealing range as the leg continues which helps to alleviate FOMO keep up the great work. Thanks!

love how clear and concise your explanations of these ICT concepts are! considering dealing ranges and displacement ranges is an excellent way to add extra confluence to potential trade ideas, and something that i will try to incorporate more going forward. i actually started adding ICT concepts to my own trading a few weeks ago and have been uploading trade recaps to youtube to help document my wins and losses to better internalize my mistakes. ICT concepts are definitely not the easiest to grasp, even after having gone through his mentorship videos, so thank you for uploading all these summaries and examples! super valuable content!🙂

Hi TTrades, your explaining method is so fluent and easy going! Amazing! Great Job! I would like to ask you couple of quesitions: 1) when the price doesnt displace the liquidity high how do we know that the displacement didnt happen completely to be sure that it will not try again literally after one candle or two? sometimes it gives the reaction after taking the liquidity but then it moves forward and actually displaces the wick and creates a new HH. 2) typically on spy I noticed that it creates 3 liquidity lets say 1 LL then there is HL and another HL pretty close to each other so it creates liquidity and then the movement doesnt fulfill those point of interest and just leaves them there and displace the other way by going to HH BULISH, what cause to be so close to the liquidity and missing them out and going to a different direction?

Thank you. Question…when you moved to the second wider range around 2:00 why that high and not the slightly lower high between the original high and the new one you chose?
@TTrades_edu
@TTrades_edu Жыл бұрын
I think you kind of answered you own question. "that high" clearly the high of the range "slightly lower high" high formed within current range. Does that make sense?

In the first example U gave, there was a big impulse red and a bearish candle at the upper end of the dealing range.. would you consider booking out longs there???
@TTrades_edu
@TTrades_edu Жыл бұрын
Yes you could book out longs there and then add when we trace back down to the OB

So, basically, for a long, you want to be in the Discount Range for both the Dealing Range and the Displacement Range. Inside the Displacement Range, you are looking for a Fair Value Gap or Order Block WITH an OTE (.62 - .79) fib (I know it's on your list, but need a better video on OBs as Alex's is not very clear). If this is true, it would seem that your BIAS is just where price happens to be based on your Dealing and Displacement Ranges. The biggest question I have, as far as Determining the CORRECT Dealing Range, it would seem to be determined by how far you randomly go back...which doesn't seem to make sense at all. The last or current high / lows for the S&P would be 4808.25 and 3502 for an equilibrium of 4155.25. Which would imply only shorts above 4155 and only longs below 4155. Given that many are predicting a recession next year of some depth as the Fed rate hikes work themselves through the economy, giving estimated bottoms of a wide range of 3600 - 3200 in the market for example, this would mean we would be trying to take longs in a possible long term selling market...which really makes no sense either. If we are looking at shorter Dealing Ranges, or if there is a method of determining the Dealing Range differently, and bracketing the current price differently, I missed it and would appreciate if you could explain this. Sorry to make this so long and I greatly appreciate the videos!

There is no single correct dealing range, price is fractal and moving through multiple ranges on multiple different time frames. currently for the daily range im using the low of 11/30 and high of 12/1. I trade intraday and close positions prior to the end of the day. I am not worried daytrading wise what the market will do in weeks/ months out when I am entering on a 1min time frame. Choosing ranges is subjective. It is something I can't really explain without more videos and even then it might confuse more.
