Trading performance displayed herein is hypothetical. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. no representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance trading results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
U.S. Government Required Disclaimer - Commodity Futures Trading Commission Futures and Options trading has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk. You must be aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in the futures and options markets. Don’t trade with money you can’t afford to lose. This is neither a solicitation nor an offer to Buy/Sell futures or options. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those discussed on this channel. The past performance of any trading system or methodology is not necessarily indicative of future results. Trade at your own risk. The information provided here is of the nature of a general comment only and neither purports nor intends to be, specific trading advice. It has been prepared without regard to any particular person’s investment objectives, financial situation and particular needs. Information should be considered as an offer or enticement to buy, sell, or trade.
You should seek appropriate advice from your broker, or licensed investment advisor, before taking any action. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Simulated performance results contain inherent limitations. Unlike actual performance records the results may under or over compensate for such factors such as lack of liquidity. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses to those shown. The risk of loss in trading can be substantial. You should therefore carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition.
If you purchase or sell Equities, Futures, Currencies, or Options you may sustain a total loss of the initial margin funds and any additional funds that you deposit with your broker to establish or maintain your position. If the market moves against your position, you may be called upon by your broker to deposit a substantial amount of additional margin funds, on short notice in order to maintain your position. If you do not provide the required funds within the prescribed time, your position may be liquidated at a loss, and you may be liable for any resulting deficit in your account.
Under certain market conditions, you may find it difficult or impossible to liquidate a position. This can occur, for example, when the market makes a “limit move.” The placement of contingent orders by you such as a “stop-loss’ or “stop-limit” order, will not necessarily limit your losses to the intended amounts. Since market conditions may make it impossible to execute such orders. By viewing any “RealTraderTim” text, audio, visual commentary, video or presentation, you acknowledge and accept that all trading decisions are your own sole responsibility, and the author, Timothy Wilson and anybody associated with this channel cannot be held responsible for any losses that are incurred as a results.

This was an outstanding video. Would love to see a follow up video that did nothing but show you setting and modifying Dealing Ranges candle-by-candle with each screen showing the preceding DR... This would be great for the confidence of those learning, be an easy video to create, and be another easy 15,000 views. You don't have to go into any other concepts except for just how the Dealing Range changes over time. Having a high degree of confidence that we are using the correct dealing range would be a great foundational accomplishment.

hello, please make a follow-up video about Dealing Range like this, because all this time I was looking for an example video of Dealing Range but couldn't find a video that was as clear as this, good video, sir, keep it up. Please give lots of examples for this sir and what are the conditions for determining the dealing range, for example on the daily time frame it is very strong bullish when a swing is formed with the concept of 3 candles? and do you have to take the buy side first before it can be said to be valid dealing range high? sorry if the language is not organized, I don't really understand English, this is also the translation from Google, greetings from Indonesia, good luck sir. I hope there is a reply from you🙏

Tim . My question is. About 20 40 60 day lookback. When you're projecting forward the 20 40 60 periods. ICT Says that each day. You keep shifting the periods forward. In your video. Where you show price taking out the sellside liquidity on the daily chart. Your 20 40 60 day periods are static. You're not rolling them forward. What are your thoughts on rolling the periods forward each day OR keeping them in place from start of month ........... It appears your showing that if you keep the lookback look forward periods static (in the same spot) You can project approximately when price is going to make an energetic run toward HTF Buyside / sellside. I hope this is a good question for you. I'm not a beginner.

If we have a large range lets say on the Daily I'd just go to 4 Hour and 1 Hour to look for Swings Highs / Lows to refine the Dealing range we are working within

@@RealTraderTim thanks. So the idea is to use the lower time frame to refine the dealing range? E.g. if 1h is large range trending then we look at 15m?

Hi, Tim, you talked about the Daily Immediate Rebalance candle in 1 hour chart at around 25:00 in your video, we should not know that candle is Daily IR candle at the real time trading chart(or when we are trading) until the end of the trading time. It may be a up close daily candle at the end of day, right? Anyway, appreciate your sharing!

Question: At about 6:50, you have your buyside liquidity chosen and marked with the blue line. Why wouldn't one use any of the three previous highs before that point or the one of the two highs after that point? Price could continue up to sweep those previous highs. Is there a way to choose one that is higher probability than another? Thanks!
