I read this quote in Matt Haig's "Notes on an Anxious Planet": "The whole of consumerism is based on us wanting the next thing rather than the present thing we already have." Living in a city that feels like it never sleeps, life often feels like an endless anxious grind for me.
I celebrated my birthday the week I filmed this vlog, and it was an opportunity for me to reflect on what I truly value and to start creating a life that I truly resonate with :-)

i have the same worries about grinding for the rest of my life :') i really hope i get to choose slow living but it seems so hard in this day and age. but thank you for reminding me about the little things, this video made me feel soft and warm and alive!!
