This and op. 25 no 6 with the double thirds are the two etudes that I'd class as "unconventionally beautiful". They really don't seem like they would work, but they really do.

This is actually one of Chopin's easier Etudes. But also one of my personal favorites as well. It had to grow on me at first, but now I love it. The Piu Lento section is one of Chopin's best melodies, imo.

Very impressive Josh on your playing and on you ability to teach. But yeah wished you had done that tutorial on the end part that repeats this with one more note in the chords making it torturous to execute. Honestly i play op 10 no 2 but the last section of this study (if you ideed play ALL the notes) is harder !

Your sight reading skills are really awesome. Can you please tell me how to gain such kind of sight reading skill. I am currently following czerny op 599 for improving my playing and reading
@MrDaxjack
@MrDaxjack 7 жыл бұрын
I believe he made a Video on it before. But I got "Better" by not letting myself look at the keys of the Piano. Resulting in me knowing where all of the notes are by feel. And letting my eyes do the reading. If you apply this method to learning Czerny op 599 or any piece with most instruments. You can start to sight read faster. It does take a long while though. My teacher always said once you know where all the keys are (Or strings) You eventually come to know that all you need to do is read. And not being overly conscious with "Am I playing the right note ?" Kinda thing. I hope that helped a little.

he only covered the technical coda for the ballade no 1. Because Josh Wright can generally find what gives pianists trouble in a piece. Rachmaninoff's leibesleid has no exceptionally challenging parts

Please stop. Respect the piece for it being one of Chopin's masterpiece, not for it being from an anime. Even the anime is meant to pay due respect to Chopin, and people like you turned it into a piece of anime only. It's bothersome to look at.
