I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Like flipping a switch, there is a box in every mind that needs to be opened. The more money you have, the more welds you have to break before that box can be opened. To be in the top 4 or 5 thousand richest people here, your conscience has to be in the freezer. It's unfortunate that it works like that. Don't pay any mind to those criticisms. I'm an older Millennial who works mostly with Gen Z, and I see an interesting phenomenon at play -- people seem to forget that EVERY generation does what they can with the world and societies we are given. Millennials aren't lazy; we came of age in the midst of absolute economic chaos. We came into an economy that made it close to impossible to find substantial employment, or to buy homes at reasonable rates, and this impacts other life decisions, goals and milestones. Gen Z isn't shallow, or weak, or whatever people call them; they are making do with the culture they have inherited -- a social media based culture that is shallow, without real values, hyperactive and hyper-exploitative.

Some of that is a kind of morality that is uniquely American. Since the 1800s people in America were expected to "be busy" pretty much all the time, as life was harder then and everyone needed to contribute all the time. That point of view stuck. People in other countries know how to relax, and downtime isn't considered "wasteful."

I feel God is wanting each of us to get clear, as things got foggy as he was allowing Greed to ripen out, as Humanity’s weakest link, in Physical Dominant Earth, but we grew spiritually and are now entering Spiritual Dominant Earth. I would rather be "lazy" than participate in the BS I went through. I might not be overly enthusiastic rn, but I've never been so calm and close to god, so I have no worries. A simple and humble life style should not be condemned lazy. People who do that have a lack on their own. Let them critics coming. I couldn't care less. Their weapons are blunt.
