SevTech: Ages is a massive modpack packed with content and progression. This pack focuses on providing the player a long-term progression experience with purpose. SevTech introduces a number of mechanics never before done such as: hiding ore until unlocked, dynamically hidden items and recipes based on progress, new mobs appear as you progress further, and much more! The modpack uses the vanilla advancement system to guide the player along while still allowing an open, sandbox experience. As you progress through the hundreds of custom advancements you will unlock new "ages" which will show you new mods to work through.

In regular SevTech I found villagers that trade I think it was sheep pelt for leather, some gave you multiple leather for one sheep pelt, really good way to dodge the stupid leather recepies.

Hey Chosen! Gotta say I’m loving this pack so far. Really excited to see you playing it. Please continue the pack as long as you can to really give me something good and long to watch. The longer the episodes the better in my opinion. By all means even after the quests are done please continue to build and develop everything.

this might be the way it's edited, or it might be that Sevtech is NEVER calm =) it's a scary pack where everything is after you, at least in the first 100 hours

Hey Chosen! I know you seem to often use the fiber torches but wanted to suggest the Totemic torches which work like regular torches. Just slap down a fiber torch into your bench, then two sticks below it- really easy recipe

You might want to use totemic as soon as possible. Totems will grant you strength, haste or even luck and can speed uo plants growth.

wet thatch if you let it dry it self by placing in the world. then after dry you break it, it's make you more efficient

I gave up when I crafted a volarkite, had no idea what to expect with the air currents or how it would function. flew past the island I wanted to go to, couldn't find a way to gain altitude again suffocated in the void, I didn't take anything valuable with me of course but seeing my grave floating in the void was a meh from me as I had the only other volarkite I made on my corpse because it said "low durability" I was expecting like 5 seconds of glide time not nearly a minute

ik this is a bit late to mention, but please dont mine with your sword, unless it's spiderwebs. You use more durrability than normal when you do that.

KZfaq home screen told me of this video and up untill about 30 Minutes ago I then got updated on the final for fabric and your first episode of this sev tech...I even wen through your video page and nothing was there up until that update. Haven't got a clue what's going on or if it's a UK thing.

if your worried about finding your way back to your home early on just die on your island and keep the skull compass, it'll point you back to your gravestone.

oh and those compasses can be grinded into bonemeal, just put it in your crafting window first to clear it.

@ZecDGG0tRekTTT i can see that Chosen uses the pack Vr 3.2.0 alpha in his description, but on twitch it only goes to 3.1.7 so for me it looks like skyblock isnt out yet, but given to people for the upcoming release? and when i google sevtech ages skyblock i ONLY can find Chosens vids on it, and no info elsewhere...
