Dude. I'm always happy to see Choso love, but most of all it brings me great joy to see people who were also disappointed in the change of his boots in the anime. Yes, you can argue it was easier to make them less detailed for the sake of animation, but they even made them this brown color that doesn't fit with the rest of his look at all. I feel like it's only a shared complaint with people who loved his design from the start, because so many of my friends who just like his character either haven't even noticed it or don't mind it lol

Listen, I'm actually the most og Choso stan I've heard of. Back when Eso and Kechizu fought Yuji and Nobara, when Eso concluded keeping the rot technique running will allow them to win, but then he turned it off subconsciously when he heard his little brother cry out in pain. Then the little flashback of Choso saying they live for each other. Yeah, given some story literacy, that was enough for me to know that Choso was going to be phenomenal. An older brother out to get revenge for his dead brothers. But the killer, Yuji, is extraordinarily compassionate and feels very bad over killing them even though he had no choice in that situation. I already knew right then and there that Yuji and Choso would have a very complex dynamic in their confrontation. It became even more than I imagined back then of course, but because of my prediction/understanding of story telling, I was already super hyped for Choso before he even did anything in the story lmao. Being a big brother who grew up beating up neighbourhood groups that harassed my siblings, Choso was relatable from the get go. So I consider myself the OG big bro appreciator lmaooo. Rest in Peace Choso 😭
