Ingredients:
2 packs Yakisoba Noodles
1/2 Green Cabbage
2 Celery stalks
1/2 large Onion
2 cloves Garlic
1 Tbsp Ginger
Salt to taste
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 cup Oyster Sauce
Optional Garnish
Green Onion
Sesame Seeds

I made this last night for dinner, I added cup and 1/2 of leftover rotisserie chicken and 1tbs of rice vinegar and turned out delicious, I also added tsp of sesame seed oil ( that's all was left in the bottle) . Very close to Panda Express but works when in a pinch. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

If you really want to make it like Panda Express’s, you need to add: Chicken Broth Base, Cooking Wine and Sesame Oil. Yup, their chow mien is not vegetarian.

Hi!! This recipe looks really good!! I don’t know if I would call it Panda though. Panda has stiff noodles and they tend to be dry (in a good way) not soupy or saucy.

Yea ive tried many times to replicate i find it difficult. Most of these copy cats dont come close. Texture of the noodles and non greasy consistency are key

I've never had Panda Express but, the difference in noodle texture between this recipe and what you get at the restaurant is because of technique. She didn't make chow mein, she made lo mein. Chow mein the noodles are pan fried alone in the wok to get them toasty golden and a little crisp, similar to how you make fried rice, then you add your sauce, veg, and meat if you're using any. Lo mein is just noodles tossed in sauce, veg, and meat if desired just before serving, which is what she made. Chow mein literally means "fried noodles".

I agree with the texture of the noodle. Instead of boiling, you want to put the dry noodle in the frying pan and add applicable water.

Weirdly peanut oil actually does not cause allergic reaction to those allergic to peanuts. Chick fil a uses peanut oil to fry everything and I was confused how such a big chain would use peanut oil if people are allergic so I googled it and what do you know! It’s safe! ☺️ so good news you can try panda!
