A little clip I took of Chris Dobey throwing some darts at the Unicorn 2018 launch. I recorded it in slow motion just to get a better look at his action.

LOL its not a pillow, was a special folder for the Unicorn 80th aniversary, you can see it in my other video or in the post on the forum here: www.dartsnutz.net/forum/thread-27600.html?highlight=Unicorn+2018+launch

@@DartsReviewChannel Ahaha ok, I just watched the video. I really thought it was some sort of game or challenge with a constraint like "hit a 180 without dropping the cushion". Anyway thanks for your response. Classy folder by the way.

@@lbdlfktf9971 Your comment only showed up for me today, along with around 40 others that for some reason KZfaq seems to have held back, some bug likely, anyway I like the idea of your challenge, hit a 180 without dropping the cushion LOL probably a bit too easy for pro players though :)

It‘s a bit late to comment on this but maybe i‘ll get an answer. Dobey has a really short backswing - so do i. many people told me, my backswing is too short - even though it‘s longer than dobeys... is that really a problem? to have a short backswing? i have glasses too and if i go too far back, i hit them...

The only thing that matters in the end is where the dart lands, if its hitting or near your target then dont worry about how you got it there, everyone throws different and plenty of people have short drawbacks :)

as far as I know only Unicorn and Target do them, I asked Winmau, Red Dragon and Harrows and they said they don't do them. I have been to 2 Target launches and 2 Unicorn launches now, I made videos of them too :)
