It’s interesting and a relief to know that even though Chris had a good family and good parents, he still had bad anxiety and depression. So having Depression doesn’t always come from having a bad childhood. He had a good family and still felt the way he did. And that’s very reassuring.

I called my mom immediately after losing my virginity, went home, and she had ice cream waiting for me, and a feel good movie, we sat down, talked and had a very open and honest talk about what happened. I hope to achieve that same honesty and respect with my children. I think that’s awesome he felt comfortable enough to disclose such a personal moment with his mother. If only more boys were raised into upstanding, honest, loving men like him. Maybe the world would be a better place.

Honestly if I ever have children, I would love to have an open and honest real with my children. I’d want them to feel like they can tell me anything. It’s better for kids to trust you than be afraid of you I think at least.

Guys like Chris Evans (allowing for the fact that there really aren't many like him) absolutely kill me, and this clip is a good example of why. He tells those stories of how he cried on the first day of school and going to camp, like he genuinely expects people to judge him for it, and I really don't think he realizes that it's got that overwhelming "accidentally charming" quality to it. When you add that to how he looks and the type of person he is and it's amazing that any woman alive even bothers to so much as look at any other man. It's just mind boggling.
