Top Gear should just be Chris Harris - no goofy gimmicks - just let Chris drive and talk. Maybe hire Henry Catchpole as well - just let him drive and talk.

Great job! Love these compilation videos. The Type R is a modern-day classic and the king of hot hatches. It has an amazing engine, manual and chassis all with usable back seats, a usable trunk, and performance that will make some supercar owners nervous. It just broke another record on the Suzuka Race Track. Keep up the great work Top Gear. No need to chase what you used to be, just continue to do what you do well and film Chris Harris talk about cars combined with that amazing cinematography.

6:07 Nice power slide. Such a great feeling when a vehicle is balanced and compliant like that and carries its speed into the straight. Especially when you're feeling like a hooligan on public roads and power slide through an intersection to beat the red light. 😁

What sort of annual maintenance costs did you experience/do you plan on? I think they're incredible but was wondering if they're getting harder to own as they age

@@stefanpetrov8 I bought mine new last year (MY19 ) so I have only had the 12 month service which was about £350 I have gotten through one set of tyres at about 5000 miles and the brakes are 35% worn but I do push things when driving so I didnt think it's that bad. On average I get about 17MPG. If you're in the UK look on the litchfieldmotors website and they break down the serving cost up to 100k miles. I have just had the stage 4.25 done so I expect things to get more expensive now. 🤣

The vehicular equivalent of a very expensive fine red wine. When it was first laid down it was criticised for being built for the PlayStation generation and some people stated you should have steered it with a controller. Now 8 years later one of the worlds most respected motoring journalists can't wipe the smile off his face when driving something he says has a deep soul and loads of character. What a brilliant car.

The basic design was introduced in Tokyo-Geneva 2001 and it still looks fairly good despite being a huge loaf. Well done Nissan!

I have the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadfromaggio. I fell in love the moment I sat in it. I got the red pearl metallic with yellow brake calipers. It’s fun every time I get in it. Charms me even after a bad day.

Fabulous set of films Chris! What a variety, wonderful driving and outstanding cars. For me I would buy the Nissan because it seems to be the product of engineers who love cars. The last would be the Tesla because I feel electric may have a couple of step changes before it hits the spot and it isn't car enough. Thanks Chris just keep doing this please and leave the kids at home.

Saw a GT-R for the first time in Kamakura very shortly after they went on sale in Japan. Friend and I were out in our cars, me in my STi RA and he in his R33 GT-R (with north of 600hp). Parked along side and it made our cars look old hat and second rate. Have wanted one ever since.

That Avantime passing by at 10:05 made me smile the first time I've seen that segment. It was a bit painful to see Chris Harris struggling to find other ways to make the 911 win that challenge though. 0-150 mph... And the Tesla still won.

Chris my 2019 Audi RS3 I can set up the car individually soo that the suspension is in comfort however the steering and powertrain are in dynamic. She's a gem.
