Chris Isaak's take on the classic Neil Diamond penned hit "Solitary Man". This appearance is from The Tonight Show in 1993 with Jay Leno hosting. Note the band does not yet include guitarist Hershel Yatovitz. Update: The featured lead guitarist is Gregg Arreguin, a session player for k.d. lang, Seal, Brian Eno and others. He died in 2003. Thanks to user 7575047 for the identification of Mr. Arreguin.

Hershel Yatovitz wasn't a member of Silvertone until 1995. This performance, from 1993, was promoting the album "San Francisco Days." The album still featured James Calvin Wilsey on lead guitar. But it was before/after the release of the album that Wilsey left the band. Hershel came along to record the next album "Forever Blue". I'd like to be able to identify this guitarist but it is not Mr. Yatovitz. And if it is, he sure doesn't look like the Yatovitz model from 1995 to present.

@dchampe66
@dchampe66 14 жыл бұрын
@barriehomeboy I disagree. Gay marriage, legal or not, men cannot reproduce with each other. But I have to ask, why bring up Canada's law regarding homosexual marriage? You could've simply said "if you crossed Elvis with Bob Hope, you'd get Chris Isaak." Then, I'd still disagree. Bob Hope?

If Elvis and Bob Hope had a child, which is entirely possible in my Canada where gay marriage is legal, this would be their child.

@barriehomeboy I've got a sense of humor, as well as one of civic responsibility. So, go ahead and bring up gay marriage as much as you want. Maybe one day - a hundred years from now, when gay marriage is legal everywhere and people from our time are seen as archaic socially-undeveloped cavemen - someone might read this comment and realize that there were a few forward thinkers amongst the lunkheads.
