I almost became a blacksmith when I left school, but my dad went out of his way to persuade me to go into engineering instead. 45 years later, I wish I had stuck to my guns and been a smith. My great grandad was a blacksmith in County Waterford, Ireland over 100 years ago. Great interview Jim.

Walking along the trails in Quetico was an experience. To know the history of travelers and to stand where Paul Cane painted. We were awe struck. They have found so many tools and pipes in that area. So interesting

Great interview Jim altough I may be a little bias on this one having grown up in the Parry Sound area. Looking forward to reading Waub's books this summer when spending time camping on Georgian Bay.
