It’s a shame that people like him never get the golden buzzer. He deserves it far more than any other „my grandpa died shortly after my birth of old age and I can’t even remember him but still I’m traumatised over this loss“ story.

Lol he is and already was a star when he was paid to perform on AGT - the dude won Swedish Idol 3 years ago using literally the exact same song. He's good - no question. But he's already a pro and this was a canned performance - not an "audition".

From Swedish interview: The AGT production had scouted Chris on KZfaq. THEY invited him to be a part of the show. The AGT Production was the ones that excluded the facts that he was part of, and won, Swedish Idol in 2017. Chris himself questioned this, but was told that they wanted to focus on his "background journey" before that, and that people would get to know about Swedish Idol anyway. If anything the production unfortunately sabotaged for him by doing so. Hopefully there won't be too much backlash. Chris has such a great voice and talent ❤️ I hope people in the U.S and all over the world get to enjoy his voice and music as much as we do here in Sweden 🇸🇪💕

OK, few thoughts: 1. He should not have been allowed to participate in AGT because he is already a pretty familiar singer somewhere else, selling out concerts, making albums and so forth...he is a PROFESSIONAL singer contrary to the rest of the performers. 2. It is obvious that he should have gotten the Golden buzzer, he was SPECTACULAR! 3. The reason he didn't get a Golden buzzer is because of the ratings...they want him to perform as much as possible 4. Its all very well orchestrated.

If he wasn't already a known professional singer that had literally won Swedish Idol three years prior I suspect that would have given him a golden buzzer. But this was a paid performance to an already discovered professional, so even they couldn't be so scummy as to even further perpetuate the lie by giving him the buzzer.
