Once u get arrested at any Caribbean island until ur case is call the police will hold ur travel documents until your court date so he went in today to hear about his charges etc now he & his lawyer will talk how they are going to fight the charges so until august is next court date he will have to stay in Trinidad until simple

So it seems he was never allowed to leave TT period or if he left he would have to leave with an escort, which he would have had to pay for going and coming. The understanding I have in regards to being given access to his passport for four days was to be able to travel back to Canada, he did not comply with the rules which in the case of a visitor/non-resident immigration will always be involved, not just the local police. He did not adhere to the four days permission he was granted to travel.......... so it has been revoked. In other words ....here is your passport you have four days to travel, you didn't follow our rules so we took your passport back.🤷♂🤷♂ Instead he was talking to the world, signing autographs for local residence...which shows defiance towards the four day permission he was given. The rules and regulations of Canada does not apply to Trinidad. Canada would not be that lenient on someone from Trinidad or anywhere else for that matter. Being in Trinidad until August is difficult😒😒 but immigration rules and regulations takes precedence whenever a visitor/non-resident is topic of discussion with local authorities.......as stated before this is my understanding....

Trinidad is going to hold him until they are finish with him he him embarrassed the island by going around these garrison video taping gang members with high power rifles that don’t look good for tourism etc the government know how many ppl subscribe to is channel etc he don’t have his passport then so they are going to make a example of him or let him pay a fine then he would have to leave the island

You need to understand that the legal systems in these countries are exceptionally complicated. What they are subtly hinting at is a demand for money, likely because they believe that since Chris is Canadian, they can't touch him once he steps off their shores.
