Pooh Jeter (Laced. South Bay), Rico Hines (Professional Coach), Bobby Brown (What Yo 1's Look Like) had a camp this weekend and special guest Chris Paul of the Houston Rockets took time to speak to all the campers.

I’m golden State Warriors fan but listening to Chris Paul I do have respect for that guy I just feel bad he couldn’t play the last two games because of the injury. I understand what he means about love for the game. When I used to work at Williamsburg Busch Gardens and we worked from 6 am till 1 am morning the next day (19hrs). We would get off gather up a group of guys and go play basketball down at the park after a full days work and play for two hours. Then go home take a shower take a nap and then get back to work at nine in the morning. It was crazy. I ❤️🏀.

CP3 been my role model for 9 years man, got me into the game of basketball. You can see his mental discipline on the court just how you can see it in this speech. It bugs some people how much he cares for the game man I swear. At this point in his career he has NO athletic advantage it’s all mental. He plays the game right and he lives by that all 4 quarters. Has more career STEALS than TURNOVERS bro. Hope the younger generation can look up to him as I did. Deserves a ring 💍💯

Some players are in it for the money, just depends how much they love having money and how mature they are. Some players get that first contract and slack off, get that first big extension and slack off ---- while others play for the love of the game but know their worth and other play to earn that bread so they can venture into other career paths down the line or help their family and neighborhood
