This is all the scenes of the Head Boy Percy in HP (My favorite Weasley) excluding the deleted scenes, I might've missed seconds of him, tell me if I missed any. What you are seeing, while I was editing this, each time he was off screen, I stopped it right there, I didn't want to show a shot without Percy in it, tried to get every second there was of this.

Percy is so misunderstood, he felt like the black sheep in his family from the fact that he wanted to focus on his career and not cause troubles and he was teased for it by his family, he is like a Hermione that didn't have the chance of having friends, he thought that his family was making a mistake and he turned his back on them, that was very wrong yes but he still felt bad and came back and fought with them his family! I'm pretty sure that he also feel pretty awful for his brother's death

i have a headcanon that from gof to dh he was under the imperious curse. it makes so much sense. some death eater at the ministry put him under it causing him to side with the ministry and then sometime around the deathly hallows his ‘master’ was killed. because percy was just a boy who enjoyed his job. he just wanted to do what he loved but was never really accepted by his family. the super carlin brothers have a video about the imperious curse theory if you want to learn more. in conclusion percy is a misunderstood baby who shouldn’t get the hate he gets for doing what he loves

You can still see it happen in the background. He's with the ministry but then fights for his family again at the end. It's just way too subtle and easily missable.

yep, the irony being that it's the only books where he's significant to the story, yet he doesn't say a word, meanwhile he's got completely unnecessary scenes in all the other movies pretty much, and dialogue in most of them. He's perfect for solidifying the ministry arc, what a waste.

13:25 lmao the expression on percy's face is so funny to me but i kinda wish they showed more of percy's "betrayal" and redemption in the movies. in the movies they never rlly explain how he fell out with his family, he just shows up with fudge a couple times in ootp and is basically never mentioned or anything and then suddenly turns up again to join his family in the battle in deathly hallows part 2. it's never shown why he left or why he came back, and none of the characters acknowledge that he's suddenly back after being mostly absent from the later films, it's just sort of like "oh he's there btw."

More is explained in the books. Knowing that there will be a Harry potter Reboot Series I hope they explore more of Percy weasley's story over the course of the story. Percy weasley is a very hated character, but I think otherwise he seems to me a very undervalued character, since his course through the saga is well done and at the same time leaves a message that Ambition and Blindness for success and at the same time time leaves another great message that "Everyone can fail you in this world, but family will always be there for you".

There was a short moment when Harry confronts Snape that would’ve shown Percy entering and Fred and George looking at each other with smirks on their faces. I think it was cut because it wasn’t that necessary and they wanted to keep the focus on Harry and Snape.
