Did you not see him open fire on Miranda like a million times at the beginning?? He got his whole team to put a million holes in her and then dumped 3-6 rounds in her forehead. How was he supposed to know that she would survive that? Yes, he could have planned better and all that stuff but he still didn’t just “shoot her once”. He was also working in the background, analyzing the situation with Hound Wolf Squad. Edit: not to mention, Chris also put the bomb in the megamycete which would ultimately defeat Miranda and the mold for good.
