Finally, a live feed that actually interests me! There's something so calming about watching people cook. My mind is blown watching you put the pasta directly in. I would have boiled it first but it makes sense to skip it if there's liquid available already to cook pasta in. I have just never done it this way. Can't wait to try it.

I'm a Midwesterner, & I love how Chris emphasizes Goulash is such a simple recipe made 'every which way' depending on personal preferences & family tradition...My Dad was fond of making Goulash for family weekend lunches, & sometimes he would use breakfast sausage instead of ground beef, but he alwys added lots of fresh corn! BTW, you two are so adorable, & I'm a dedicated subscriber!!!

This is my favorite dish. Real comfort food. I like it simple and don't even add the garlic. I cook the noodles separately and add them to the meat and tomato mixture but I'll have to try cooking the noodles in the same pan and save another pan from needing cleaning. I hold back a few noodles and add some cheddar cheese powder so people can mix in a few if they like. Red chile flakes also go well sprinkled on top. I let each person decide how they want to fix their own bowl.

Looks so delicious, Chris & Tammy! That's so similar to how I make goulash. I don't use tomato paste; I just add a good squeeze of ketchup, because we like little bit of sweetness. If I need to stretch it to feed a couple extra folks, I will add a can of pork & beans, sauce and all, and add a little extra pasta.
