Everyone is lauding his evaluations but this was over the top. Dude was high on Herbert, but main respected evaluators talked about Herberts throwing not being natural and how he was aiming instead of just letting it rip. I’m essence they same complaint Simms has about Fields. No one in their natural mind thinks Jackson is a more natural throwing than Lance or Fields. @@SwaGSurFer12 Lance is NOT a natural thrower at all. There's a reason he only threw on average under 20 times a game, averaged under 200 yards a game, and only threw the ball 10 times in the FCS championship win against JMU. He doesn't trust his arm enough not to take off when the 1st read isn't there. He also struggles heavily with timing throws.

Kirk cousins at 35mil this year and 45mil next year is not worth a borderline top 10 QB. Also it would be a typical vikings move to select a guard at 14. Kinda like bradbury 18 a couple years ago. Hes looking like a bust so far. I like chris simms a lot but I think he needs to do a bit more homework on the vikings. The vikings may make that move but it isnt one I think most people would be as excited about as chris was. AVT is more of a late first round pick than a top 15 pick. imo

My first problem is the trade up by New England for a WR. As much as Waddle can take over for Edelman that's a lot to give up for a WR and also they just signed 2 TEs. They are not gonna run a lot of formations with a slot WR I dont believe. If anything they trade up for a QB but Fields is just Cam Newton but younger and I'm not sure they love that for the future

Someone will nab Fields well before 32, if Fields is sitting there in the 20 to 25 range, a team will trade up instantly. I do see Mond possibly going at 32 with a team that wants to develop him, Tampa could take him and let him sit behind Brady for a few years.

@carolinajohnson7558
@carolinajohnson7558 3 жыл бұрын
No he ran a 4.39 and if you watch scouts or Chris he will tell you pro days mean nothing they can up to .15 to that run because it’s done by a human and they can cheat…..so you add .15 to that and it’s bad I mean slow. 4.54 makes him slow and he doesn’t change direction very quickly. If you watch him against Alabama the WR run by him like his standing still unless he grabs them…
@itachi1403
@itachi1403 3 жыл бұрын
@@carolinajohnson7558 my bad I saw 4.37 somewhere online. I dunno about pro day 40 times everyone seems to accept some and throw away others, I dont think we should pick and choose which ones we wanna accept e.g. Chris on mac Jones 40 compared to pat surtains. Completely with you on your last point. That's what I meant by I agree he's a walking PI and is stiff. Btw I don't consider horn as a top 5 cb for this draft unless in a seattle scheme kinda defence
@carolinajohnson7558
@carolinajohnson7558 3 жыл бұрын
@@itachi1403 pro days 40 times get thrown out by combine times but this year there is no combine but if a player runs at his pro day and not at the combine which happens the scouts no why because someone smudge the clicker. So this year you bet there are adding times to 40 times how much depends on the team. I would trust Alabama maybe give that time .06 over SouthCarolina give that time .10. But ever scout and team adds time to the 40 no laser means human error especially after watching tape then watching 40 times

Chris seems knows what’s up when it comes to qb’s and his track record proves he’s been better than anyone else. So if you find yourself disagreeing with him it’s highly likely your biases have led you to think that just because a qb can run a 4.4 doesn’t mean he’s a good qb prospect😬😬

Simms does not take into consideration the necessity of a QB’s leadership quality because he never was a leader. Field’s leadership on and off the field surpasses the other QBs. His toughness and determination raises the play of his teammates.
