Cheis bought that guitar years ago. It was second hand amd well used (abused?), possibly to the point he was cleaning mud out of it. Morgane gets a bit defensive when people ask about it's condition. But it's his primary song writing guitar and he loves it.

LOL the funny thing is at this time he didn't even care if he got a record deal or not. He had written many hit songs for other people at this point that he performed way better than them LOL. Chris is just a bad bad man. There's not been anyone like him for a long time, if ever. In the years that I've been alive on this planet I've never heard anyone glide through as many genres and fit in them as Chris Stapleton. You'll hear many covers of Chris Stapleton songs from really good vocalist. But the difference is, they don't drive those songs like a freight train into you like Chris can.
