Your reaction is the same as every black man I've seen. Y'all get goose bumps and you want to see him in concert. And I don't blame you because that man can sang! I'm a 59 year old black woman who primarily listens to R&B. After hearing "Cold" I decided to listen to all his albums. Let me tell you I did so without having to skip any songs, even the more country ones. And the only difference between the studio version and the live is how he embellished the live version. The voice is the same regardless. My favorite singer is Luther Vandross. I love his rich tone and the creative musical choices in his songs. I like Chris Stapleton for the same reasons. I call him the country Luther Vandross.

I Was Wrong live at Austin City Limits 4. Cold 🥶 live at the 2021 CMA 5. Hold On duet with H.E.R. at the CMA’s I think 2020. 6. Medley Duet with Justin Timberlake of Tennessee Whiskey 🥃/I Can’t Drink You Away CMA’s not sure of the year. 7. Live Duet with Jennifer Hudson at some awards show can’t remember the songs. 8. Tennessee Whiskey live performance at Austin City Limits. 9. Official Music Video Fire Away 10. Official Music Video Say Something Duet with Justin Timberlake. 11. DeathRow live performance at some awards show. There’s much more and before he became a singer he was a master guitarist and songwriter for many famous artists across genres so you probably know his work. You can Google that and get a list of songs and artists. I’m still working on that.

If you haven't checked out either I Was Wrong Live at Austin City Limits or JT's Say Something official video, those are both amazing. Say Something is sooooo good!
