They know they’re better off waiting until the waters have calmed in a few years and then they’ll have the time and capacity to commit to a partner and keep them safe, if that’s what they’re aiming for. I think chris is just contented on what he has right now and the love he is getting to the point he is not looking for gf nor see himself being with someone in the future. Maybe thats the reason why he only sees matt and nick with him in that old age.
