I like the idea of destructible terrain, but I find that it could quickly turn into a gimmick. It would be a better idea to have the option to build normal nukes (or equivalent superweapons) and have the additional option to upgrade them (at an extra cost) to cause structural damage to the sphere. This way, players would still be able to choose between a simple nuke, or a weapon that can alter the map (I can imagine situations where the first is desirable while the second isn't).

War weapons should not look like toys. The units in this game look tough enough, so I won't have to worry.

Wish the “reaction” was more about what was being shown… it kinda had an awkward feeling not referring to anything in the trailer. However I can’t wait for this game! Looks epic

I'm hyped for the game since I have PC and console alike regardless which platform it hits or doesn't hit. Always a massive RTS fan(And RPG but that's for another note). One unique feature I loved for an older RTS that I've yet to see make a return is the custom command unit on Stormrise(Loved making a one man army).

Can we please see a full GAMEPLAY video with commanders, navy, air, ground etc in battle? This trailer literally showed 2 seconds of in game footage from 1:23 to 1:25... lol. If you want to do it right give us a badass trailer like supcom did which actually lived up to the hype!!!!

This game looks impressive. I think my only issue is with the land being on the outside of the Dyson sphere yet somehow getting light with no sunlight. Typically the habitable land is depicted on the inside of Dyson spheres.

An evnious Christ Taylor is exactly what we need! Hopefully he will start building great games again. Or join this team :)

This looks like it could be my new favourite game, I loved the Supreme Commander series and this looks like it's could to take that kind of game to new levels, I have about 450 Hours of play time on steam for SC2 and that's doesn't include all the hours I played it when I owned it with out steam, really looking forward to this release, very impressive trailer.

This is kind of a little bit of false advertising. You just released a trailer with audioclips of mr Taylor from a completely different video. Not very cool. There is one thing that is cool, though. And that is the game you are working on. You are doing a great job and I'm looking forward for the release. Please also consider releasing the trailer here, not just on Steam. Seems like a missed opportunity (if you do not have some sort of plan for that already). Thank you for what you are doing.

The game looks super impressive, can't wait for it to come out. That being said, I don't think Chris Taylor's endorsement is a good thing given the flaws of Supreme Commander (pathfinding) and the fact he made Supreme Commander 2. Guy made 3 good games and everything else has been a shitshow.

I get what you guys are trying to do, appealing to supcom fans. But i am uncertain this project will succeed if you don't start appealing to people outside of the supcom fandom. You've got to understand that Chris Taylor might not be a known individual to most gamers. Perhaps you guys should start looking for people to help with marketing. Another minor criticism I have is the lore basis you currently have. You very similar factions to supreme commander without any alien like faction. You basically have UEF and two cybran factions. Perhaps it would be better to add an alien faction that is out to conquer sanctuary for example. I get that there is only so much you can do with the factions. But as an rts fan that really liked the campaings of dow/supcom I hope that this part is not neglected. Nevertheless I hope this game will eventually succeed I am looking forward to playing it.

@SANCTUARY Can I ask for something to be added in the future? Add an RPG-lite system for the Commanders, and an inventory to them? It'll add some simple variety even between friendly commanders... and extend possible Custom Game options. Such as the extensive modding community that existed for Warcraft III Frozen Throne; it can just be +5% build speed... let the modders go nuts with the possibilities. Anyway, if you read this, thank you for your time :3

DEVS when will we see this demo? Please dont do a single player demo...maybe a skirmish so we can see full on combat in grand scale.

Been gaming for decades now (literally). This doesn't mean crap. This is 10 lbs of nothing. The Kickstarter hasn't even launched and even when that does and finishes they will be YEARS away from a real game. I will get excited if it's a thing in five years.

Can you please show us some different units/ buildings? Everything shown so far has been pretty bland and generic unfortunately

i just found out about this project through @Gamerzakh and this seems good ! i don't want to take a dump on them because they put a huge amount of effort into it, but Beyond all Reason just doesn't appeal to me, it feels like they're purists trying to revive total anihilation instead of making something new and innovate. this seems new and innovative !
