Chris Vermeulen of ‪@TheTechnicalTraders‬ shares his next price target for gold, as well as his outlook for silver and precious metals miners. While he expects a stock market correction to weigh on these assets, they are set to perform well before and after.
"When I'm looking at the daily chart of gold, it is pointing to about US$2,650 to US$2,750 (per ounce) for gold over the next two to three months. So I'm still very bullish on gold," Vermeulen said.

Gold has a new role with BRICS so be careful connecting correlations of past corrections to the next correction. Silver is similar.

I expect that there will be a last minute dash by BRICS into PMs in August before the Shanghai meeting of finance ministers in September when they detail the BRICS Unit which will be backed up by PMs. When do Fund Managers rebalance their portfolios will it be pre or post summer and follow Sam Duncan Miller pivot from Tech into Newmont etc? H1 earnings for miners will be from 25th July till wk 2 of August ! So August fireworks 🎇🎇🎇

I agree with Chris in regard to the FED rate cuts and I believe the first rate cut will be after the presidential election unless there is a black swan event between now and the election
