Hey Chris, Well Done. As a 50 year old who started archery before the Social Media Era I feel You and Dudley are the Best!!! All though you make money and do archery for a living (The American Dream), I feel you haven't sold your sole to the Dollar and your Love and Passion for Archery and Hunting are still what's most important. I was amazed by how much the change in fletching tightened the broadhead grouping significantly. You did a good job with setting up this test, however sprinkling in some more science with a few improvements to the experimental design and analysis could go a long way in making a test video like this even more definitive resource that your audience can use to choose equipment based on how you shoot them. What you are doing here is very valuable because you are a talented archer that we know is consistent in form and aim testing top tier equipment with such slight variations as broadhead/arrow/release and showing the results. This type of info is usually only obtained through coaching or personal trial and error which is usually costly and can be frustrating because most of us don't shoot as well as chris. I am imagining a blinded test controlling for more factors where chris is handed various test arrows in a randomized order. This could control for many confounding factors that could call into question the results. Bump the sample size up a bit for each sample and you can run some simple but powerful statistics to make the comparisons and provide context for your conclusions. I think a LOT of consumers would be interested in that type of video where you examine one or more variables in a shooting setup and provide unbiased testing. I for one would really like to see if helical fletching improves broadhead precision and if arrow center of mass matters much.

I think you inadvertently showcased the fact that all of these broadheads can be deadly at “whitetail ranges”, which for most of us is not 70 yards. I think that all of the broadheads you tested can be deadly at normal hunting distances, just with subtle differences. Great test!

Good stuff Chris. Everyone seems to have their own opinions, which is fair, but love how you dove in and provided the specs and facts. Everything else can be scrutinized, but thanks for doing this. One thing I noticed that will save you a little effort, at least with the G5 packaging is there is no need for the knife, and the packaging can be reused for storage. The back side of package has a little ridge that the flat backing pops out and package opens like a book. Not sure on the others.

Here in Georgia USA, with an online hunter's safety course, you can buy your hunting license and get tags for 12 deer. 10 does, 1 buck of any size, and 1 quality buck. The deer herd in our state is hovering around 1 million. Texas has the largest number of whitetails. Georgia also has an "apprentice hunter" program that requires you to be under the direct supervision of a fully licensed hunter, but does not require the hunter safety courses.

IMHO... Many KZfaqrs don't like or use Swhackers because you can get them for a good deal at your local Wal-Marts, especially when end of season clearance comes around! They're also not as Blingy or Trendy as many newer broadheads. So even though many youtubers get great tests results all the time with them, they usually just make quick comment about them and push them aside. I bet if Swhacker sponsored them, it'd be a whole different story.

In my experience when it comes to the schwacker ive always had a great bloodtrail. The bleeders always do a good job of creating a good entrance hole. One particular experience I had was a 150 inch 10 that was quartering away and it buried into the opposite shoulder and with the arrow still in the animal it still opened well enough to make a great blood trail. Ive had the best luck getting pass throughs on clean shots with the schwackers. Other big cutting diameter expandables ive used seem to have trouble penetrating all the way through. I shoot 75lbs.

My guess is he didn't test them since Lancaster doesn't carry them. But I agree with you!

Fun fact for ya. The old NAP killzones before they went to the chinese company. They had a 1lb detent, which made them open easier also came out of the box sharper, to a 6lb detent and very dull out of the box. Once i found out that, it made sense why the last 2 deer i shot they never opened up. So i switched to fixed blade broadheads to avoid this issue ever happening again.

Sevr and SWAT. Some of the SWATs are a 3.75 inch cut from a 4 blade mechanical with weights up to 175 grains. Kinda expensive though.

The reapers wound channel is close to 3" in diameter which means more blood and a better chance of hitting the heart if your shot is off

The the longer the Broadhead is it distributes the weight out on the Arrow differently which puts the arrow in a different spine that's why it will shoot to the left or to the right Great video
