​@The Abyss the English dub was an unofficial Hong Kong dub. Any bot who's name started with a B was called Billy. Blur and Blaster were called Billy several times throughout it.

I actually like the Troop Transport alt mode so I went with Soundblaster and his double wide tape deck when they were first released for the 35th Anniversary, since I already had a Robots in Disguise Soundwave deluxe and got the Vintage G1 Reissue to collect ALL THE TAPES.

The soundblaster that transforms into a spaceship sky rocketed in people wanting it because they released a new version that had the mercenary logo because of the Netflix series and the original one that was released because of a celebration, had a decepticon logo

So the decepticon logo one became rarer and more wanted

I think he was just referring to the character being used in the Netflix show as the first time a lot of fans were introduced to the concept of the character, not the first time he showed up in a Hasbro market. You have a point about it not being mentioned in the video, though. Normally he includes every release and appearance.

@@tigerbread78 From what I've read, the English dub scripts were hastily translated from more-readily-available Chinese scripts (since the dub was recorded in Hong Kong), rather than the original Japanese. That's why the names are so bizarre.

Speaking of obscure characters, will Cog be next? I didn’t know about him at all, and he was mostly just a background character in War for Cybertron until he saved his autobot comrades from being destroyed by Deseeus. It was both impressive and tragic to see a background character play such an important role all of the sudden, just to be seemingly killed off.

He might be Liege Maximo's actual Prime name sort of like the Fallen and Megatronus

@@ryanmatthews3609 Optimus being one of the original Primes just isn't my thing, I like when he's just a dockworker/archivist. And I think Logos works well as Thirteen, being very mysterious, and fulfilling a role of representing a type of Cybertronian (bonded mechs, since he has a deployer. All the other Primes represent a type or aspect of Cybertronian culture, such as beastformers, minicons, combiners etc but it's not clear what Optimus' "thing" is.

There is reason to suspect that he may be one of the Thirteen, but he is not listed in the Covenant of Primus. @@drstephenstrange897 They're either too cheap, too lazy, or ran out of time to make new CGI models. Similarly, in Beast Wars, many of the toys went unused in the cartoon because Mainframe couldn't create that many new models in the given time for the budget they had. Some characters didn't get "Transmetals" upgrades for the same reason.

@@KasumiKenshirou Yeah that kind of ticked me off. They chose to use Tigatron instead of Wolfang, because all they had to do was alter Cheetor’s character model. Rhinox didn’t get a transmetal form and kind of faded from importance as Beast Wars went on. I guess I can kind of understand Scorponok and Terrosaur because they were pretty one-dimensional characters, but Rhinox should have at least gotten a transmetal form.

Not that it's any improvement; they even widened the whole torso on the Netflix/Earthrise Soundwave, and the Tape Minions STILL get stuck. I can't even use Rumble & Ratbat in the compartment of my Soundblaster.

@@kaylemathewcomendador6964 He insulted us for being mad at the new reboot (which highly disrespects the original books). And then went as far as to claim the Transformers fandom has never complained about a highly respected part of the franchise being changed into something that it isn’t (i.e. every character in the Bay movies). A lot of fans didn’t handle it well, which is unfortunate. But that said, his initial comment was a bit uncalled for. I don’t blame him for not understanding, but he needn’t be rude. Oh well... that’s the internet for you.

Would have been neat if Creative & Hasbro worked together for a Soundblaster figure. An MP3-player Sound Blaster Soundblaster would be pretty cool if he’s modelled after one of Creative’s digital-to-analogue converters with the “cassettes” being based around the various sound cards.
