Spicy Pillow! iPhone 7 Swollen Battery

Today we have a spicy pillow, and boy is it glued down tight. This one was more of a solid balloon, and not airy like some are. If your phone looks like this, definitely get the battery replaced as soon as you can.
I'll be replacing this one with a newer cell.

You can easily to remove the battery after removing taptik engine.. Because the adhesive is easily to come out, if you remove the taptik engine.. I tried this method And successed.. So you can try this in the next one. Keep it up.. we're always supports to your channel bro.. Thank you.. and I like you...

Great suggestion! It does really depend on the angle and sometimes without the vibrator you can get it out easier!

Absolutely, honestly you should be fine as long as you avoid charging it too much, keep it below 40% battery, but completely off is preferable. They take a LONG time to reach super dangerous points, but get it fixed sooner than later.

@@TapticDigital thanks for the help, unfortunetely tho even if it was charged to 100, it would die in less than a minute so I definitely waited too long with this battery, the swelling didn’t start until yesterday tho, so it’s probably best it just stays off

hey , i have a mini ipad 4 and i think my ipad’s battery is swollen , it has swollen a bit on left side , until now there is no battery draining problem and works fine and the swollen side can be pushed down to original place.(my screen has been cracked and dropped alot before). Will it work fine for months? because i am buying new phone in few months. Please answer

It might, your best bet for keeping it from swelling further would be to not charge it past 50%, and don't put a lot of pressure on it. Batteries can continue to swell on their own and become quite dangerous. Time-wise I can't say, it could last another year, it could last another week. They are pretty random once the swelling starts.

@@kenrih2702 very very unlikely unless something metal goes through it. If you smell something sweet, like juicy fruit gum coming from the iPad it's a sign that the protective sleeve has ripped and lithium gas is leaking, that's when you'll want to stop using it entirely and seal it in a bag.
