Christian Bale is revealing what it was like working with Natalie Portman for "Thor: Love and Thunder," "She was buff and every time I had a scene with her, she was angry and she was focused and she had a hell of a presence and I was bloody intimidated by her." "Thor: Love and Thunder" will be released in theaters on July 8th.

He is actually very funny and charismatic 😂he also cracked a lot of jokes during interviews for Ford v Ferrari, like this one here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fK-HjbCn2rbDXXk.html P/S: If you haven't watched Ford v Ferrari, I highly recommend that you do. It's an excellent and heartfelt movie even for non-car fans. Bale often stars in biopic (the big short, vice, FvF, the Fighter, Rescue Dawn) and I am really amazed at how much he understands the characters he was playing and how the real-life events shaped who they were. I think that's why he seems so serious and intimidating most of the time - it's hard to goof around when your characters are real-life persons and you have to pay respect to them.

Both Natalie Portman and Christian Bale were phenomenal as child actors. Natalie performance in Leon The Professional and Christians performance in Empire of the sun are so top knotch that its no surprise they grew up to be high calibre actors.

Batman Begins (2005) and Superman Returns (2006) should’ve started the DCEU. Both movies looked/felt like they belonged in the same universe. Christian Bale and Brandon Routh were the perfect age to start a franchise for the next two decades!

Bales likely conscious of the audio leak of him and what he thinks that does for his reputation, but frankly if you're a fan of his work or not, you have to respect his process and commitment to the art. The silver screen would be a duller place if actors like him didn't have that sort of passion. He's just a normal guy in an abnormal industry, and like any normal human in that position, he has to make an effort to remind himself how lucky he is, which is the important part, because a lot of folk probably don't. One of my favourite actors, who I've never seen turn in a bad performance.

I think the Terminator thing was overblown a little, obviously you need to keep your cool, but I kinda blame the director for not keeping things running tight for the actors to perform their best. Going in, you gotta know that Bale takes his craft seriously and if your people are not doing their job properly its gonna be a bad time. Again not excusing Bale but I can see how it happened.
