I’m from Utah. In my late teens I believed all of the feminist and pro-choice talking points without question. In two years I had two abortions. In the aftermath I tried with all my might to pretend nothing of consequence had happened. That what I chose to do didn’t matter. If I thought about it at all I told myself that I had had clumps of cells, parasites, removed from my body. But at a deep level that I refused to acknowledge… I knew. Those were human children. My children. And I had paid to have them killed. Ultimately it is only because of God’s mercy and grace given by faith in Jesus Christ that I now have the ability to face these facts. Thank you for courageously speaking for human rights in this context. Please be encouraged to continue. It does matter. If I had not been able to legally get those abortions I would have cried injustice and oppression to everyone who would listen… and my two children would very likely be alive, and in their early 20’s now.
