You said it Isaac, this has been my struggle since I was eleven years of age. Even as social media becomes the epicenter of where sex and lustful content is made marketable and celebrated. I cannot scroll down without praying to God to guard my eyes and heart.

I've heard a lot of people say they have this problem. However I don't think it's something inescapable. The Bible tells us no to make provision for sinful temptations, and indeed to flee from them. If certain social media is causing you to sin, then cut it off and throw it away, as Jesus would say. It may be you can just re program your social by disliking etc, but if there is no way around the content that causes you problems, is it really too radical to say just delete it? If this is effecting your relationship with Jesus, then isn't it worth it?

As someone who thought they would never be free from masturbation and now couldn't tell you the last time I consciously did it, I have to say that when you are in the habit of doing it all the time, you feel like you "need" it more than you do the less often you do it. When you give into that every time, you actually think about sex more, rather than be relieved from your desires.

There also needs to be a detox video for women! There are so many of these videos, and it’s good, but most if not all are directed toward men. Women can feel permanently damaged and irredeemable due to sexual sins as well, and we don’t talk about it because it’s shameful and considered only a guy thing. Women are more prone to sexual fantasies, romance novels, etc. but I have yet to see a video on healing from these things. God is a forgiving and healing God, and He doesn’t eternally punish us for our sexual sins. He gave His Son to redeem us-to REDEEM us! We can claim regeneration and healing in His Name!

@@benz_4_ducksgaming844 Yes social media feeds us the soft p*rn constantly. More and more videos are talking about it. So completely deleting it is really the only option. Screen time is great too. For me, who doesn’t really have many friends, I just started to change the screen time passcode like 5-10 times over and over really fast within 5 minutes, and then I can forget what it was. The next thing is to also change your Apple ID password to something really complicated (Apple ID is used to reset the screen time passcode). Use a password generator with lots of numbers and letters. Write down the password and then leave the piece of paper at work or something.

Can you do a video about how Christians should approach those struggling with paraphiliac disorders (pedophilia, voyeurism)? I’m a student in a graduate counseling program UTSA who in the future, I want to intervene individuals with paraphiliac disorders in a counseling setting. Many people (Christians) don’t believe people with those types of tendencies can recover or be rehabilitated. A lot of them misuse the verse Matthew 18:6 as justification for vengeance or mistreatment. But I believe if Jesus can change us for the better while we were in our filthy desires, anybody has the capability to change beneficially. My therapist who specializes in trauma at the time believes that people with paraphiliac disorder suffer from a form of childhood trauma that later on affects in life, why do treat mental health lesser than those who are physically ill? What’s your take on this topic? I’ve been clean of p*** for 3 1/2 years, I’ll be 4 years sober! Thanks covenant eyes!

That is one of the keys, not only cutting off porn but also porn adjacent materials. The stuff that doesn't cross into the technical definitions of porn but the things that can plant those seeds that our imagination, especially one that has been doused in porn, can grow into pornographic imaginings. Social media is one avenue but check other sources of entertainment, even conversation. A little gossip about some sexual escapade might not itself be pornographic but we can start filling in the blanks with our own imagination. And that is a two-for-one also, flee sexual sins and gossip at the same time.

While a wife is a good thing, it's not the excellent route to go after one because of your burning passion You need to replace an old passion with a new one. My brother it's time to pursue harder after the Lord with passion. The danger with thinking that a wife is the solution is that if the Lord doesn't give you one, you stand to fall into sin Let's eliminate that possibility by focusing on the will of God for your life. What does the Lord want for you? Why did He make you? How can you please Him? Trust me, if you take your time to pray to the Lord about this and also study the scriptures, your old lusts will be tempered by your new passions You don't need a wife first, you need to seek the kingdom. I can help you. Can we talk?

I’ve never dated nor used any manner of substance and have no friends. I was raised Christian and now have truly come to God. I seek to put Him first but I don’t know how to find my calling. I don’t see a way forward or direction in my life and a wife would be a purpose to give me hope, affection, and love. Right now I’m just waiting for the Lords return, ww3, or 2nd rev war. I will be married and I will marry a godly virgin wife because I will not be unequally yoked. I understand your meaning but I am pursuing God first and learning more about Him and His love all the time. That doesn’t get rid of my hunger for sex though. I don’t crave porn but I do crave masturbation and I have resisted so far. I am a young man and all I have ever wanted is to feel the love of a woman but porn filled it. Now that the porn is gone I need a wife. I will court the one God leads me to or to me and I will become the best godly man that I can be for her. I won’t put it above God but it takes priority in my life above every other thing but God. Thank you. God bless.

It's is impossible for us to "overcome" a desire placed there by God. God made you, and part of you is your desire. Thus, we can conclude that having a desire isn't a sin. This tells us that the fulfillment, the object, or the method (and others) is where the sin is. A reorientation of our desires to Gods will is a better way of thinking about it.

Remember guys this is not a war you can fight on your own. I have been struggling with lust and losing for 6 straight years. No matter what tricks or tips you may have to distract you or what you are told by some self-improvement person on you tube your lust will always come back if you are not fully surrendered to God. Next time you get an urge or temptation ever yell out loud for a second if you have to saying "God I surrender". I started doing this more recently and it has changed not only my outlook but my perspective on my own lustful sin. I may not have won the war with lust yet and I may never, but with God power and the start of my surrendering to him I am finally starting to win some battles. All of this is right in the Bible being Job 11:13-19. hope this help someone.

I have a question on the Jewish perceptive on Chastity. Why do Jews not believe in waiting until marriage ? Don’t the studies show these marriage are the strongest less likely to get divorced? Plus just having one romantic partner to me is just logical. You can’t get any more romantic than that, you won’t be thinking of others or comparing them. Plus the idea of being with multiple people grosses me out wether it’s me, them or both Thats done it. So why isn’t this a thing with Judaism and other religions? It seems like basic phycology. I’ve had mixed answers so far that the laws are complicated, it depends on who, what, where, when are relationships can be permissible. But incest and grape is not allowed. I was in a relationship with a Jewish girl and she admitted she has had multiple partners. (2 of them, if she was honest.) So I didn’t want to Continue the relationship. Did I do the right thing? Shouldn’t I forgive her? (I’m in my late twenties and she might be the best I get. I’m worried I might not get another, not get married, or have kids.) I Believe she doesn’t see sex as a big deal so will continue to do it wether it was with me or now another. I could try and ask her if we talk again, and ask her views in those things. She is very close with her Rabbi so I’m so confused if she did the wrong thing or not. Or what he would think about it.

Well, here is the biblical answer if you are a Christian-it may be hard to hear, but it is what the Bible says: She is not the one for you. This is not because of her having had sexual partners before (that's certainly something that Christ can wash her clean of and make her a good wife for a future man, if she comes to Christ). Rather, Christians are forbidden from marrying non-Chrisitians, so as long as she is not a Christian she is not marriage material for you (I believe Jews who convert to Christianity are still Jews, but it sounds based off of what you said that she is not a Christian). 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?" I think this passage probably applies beyond just marriage, but choosing who you marry is one of the biggest areas that it applies. I know it's rough man, and I will pray for you. But please don't think that this is the only chance for you! I am also in my late 20s and am single and often discouraged about finding a wife, but then I've got friends who didn't get married until their 30s or 40s. "I have to go with what I can get now even if it's not the best God has for me because it will be too late otherwise" I think is a lie the enemy uses to tempt us to make bad decisions. At the very least, it is listening to and obeying fear, and that's no way to live or walk in in the Spirit. Believe me, you do not want to marry someone who does not love Jesus. It's not that God *can't* make something good out of it, but it's the foolish course of action, like saying that you *could* survive driving your car off a bridge (dramatic example, but hopefully you get the point).

It is so strange reading about some of these struggles. I don’t feel guilty or ashamed when I masturbate. When I was masturbating frequently it didn’t pull me out of being attracted to real world women I was with in real life. I have watched pornography and satisfied myself, then have my wife get home and satisfied both of us then. It didn’t bring me shame or make me feel less attracted to my wife. I feel for those that struggle with this, but this sounds much more like alcohol. There are some that can drink a single glass of wine at dinner, and there are those that once they start drinking they can’t stop. I don’t relate to anything you are saying in this video, but I hope it helps those that are struggling.
