In this video, Deacon Eric Collins of Apologia Utah has a wonderful conversation with a Roman Catholic. This video is a prime example of how to model humility and love while doing evangelism.

Hope your are doing good. I have a question. Do you believe you are a good person and if so do you believe that will get you into Heaven? 1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

@JMoVee not looking to argue, no need to bear false witness, I gave you my reasoning: to test the false doctrine. We’re called to do that. It teaches a different gospel than the one in the Bible. Grace thru faith saves. We don’t earn or work to keep our salvation. We can’t lose our salvation. That’s how it’s false (read Romans 3,4, Galatians 1, Ephesians 1&2, John 6)

All of these videos should end with Catholics Mormons etc knowing they NEED to leave these cults. This Catholic lady tried and almost controlled the conversation and we should always have MORE CONVICTION to saving this people before they walk away...That's why us Christians do evangelism in the first place. She walked away still thinking being a Catholic is OK. SHE IS NOT SAVED !!! It's ok to be more tough on these believers because the need to hear the TRUTH.

TO MISSWRIGHT3976 My previous message did not post for some odd reason, so I'll give you it again AND also reply to another post you sent to me that I just discovered. I will post a copy in another comment box above: 1) I said I was a Catholic until I was 17 and then the rituals stopped. If i was STILL a Catholic, the rituals would not have stopped when I reached adulthood, would they. 17-45 I was not practicing anything until I dabbled in New Age practices. I encountered the demonic through my ignorance. I was rescued by the Holy Spirit and taught real Christianity. Now that I not deceived, I am helping others overcome THEIR deception I can't change minds, only the Holy Spirit can. I can only expose the errors of your position. 2) YOU: what do you even mean? The mass is filled with scripture. ME: It is not filled with scripture. It encompasses about 20% of the church service. YOU: I'm doing a Bible in a Year program through the Hallow app, and guess who is leading it? Father Mike Schmitz, a Catholic priest! ME: Titles mean nothing. Tell me what he is teaching you, and I'll show you if it's authentic or heretical. YOU: if I was talking behind your back I wouldn’t post it to a public forum of which you could see. ME: Some people are stupid enough to think otherwise it, but you still did it. YOU: Obviously I knew you could...another Catholic person about my frustrations with you and other anti-Catholic people. ME: What is the source of your frustration? My exposure of something you care about so deeply? YOU: Sorry if what I said offended you or hurt you in any way. Clearly neither one of us is going to change our minds. ME: I am willing to have my mind changed if you can support the evidence. It is YOU that won't change DESPITE the evidence. YOU: Im not arguing with you anymore,... and Protestantism. Peace be with you and God bless you. ME: I am not a Protestant. Stop tagging me with your enemy's labels.

Paul cited Psalm 14. What was the context? Paul tells us in Rom: 5:19 that some, but not all, were made sinners. Do you agree with Paul? Or have YOU abandoned his apostolic teaching? righteous“Whoever receives you receives me, and awhoever receives me receives him who sent me. 41 bThe one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And cwhoever gives one of dthese little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” Romans 3, verse 10 says, “…as it is written: ‘None is righteous, no, not one.’” Yet, James 5:16 says that the prayer of a righteous man availeth much. If absolutely no one is righteous, then who is James talking about? Luke chapter 1 says that Elizabeth and Zechariah were righteous before God. If absolutely no one is righteous, then how can that be? Is Scripture contradicting itself? No, the folks who interpret Romans as saying absolutely, without exception, no one is righteous, are misinterpreting that passage. They are failing to realize that the key to understanding Romans 3:10 is the phrase, “it is written.” Here in Romans, Paul is quoting from the O.T., Psalm 14 to be exact. In Psalm 14 it says, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God. They are corrupt…there is none that does good.’” But then that same psalm goes on to talk about the “righteous.” Well, if none has done good, who are these righteous the psalm is talking about? Obviously, when the psalmist says that none has done good, he is talking about the fools who say there is no God. He is not talking about absolutely everyone.😂😂

The Catechism of the Catholic Church defines purgatory as a “purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven,” which is experienced by those “who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified” (CCC 1030). It notes that “this final purification of the elect . . . is entirely different from the punishment of the damned” (CCC 1031). The purification is necessary because, as Scripture teaches, nothing unclean will enter the presence of God in heaven (Rev. 21:27) and, while we may die with our mortal sins forgiven, there can still be many impurities in us, specifically venial sins and the temporal punishment due to sins already forgiven.👌👌

You’re right, nothing unclean will enter the kingdom of God. That is why it is not of our own works that we make it to heaven. It is the righteousness of Christ that envelopes us and is the cleanliness that the Father sees in us so that we can be seen as righteous. The idea of purgatory is NOT mentioned anywhere in scripture and is a man made concept to fit the agenda of the Catholic Church

@@dsifreak10 Since you claim there is no "purgatory " Then please explain where Jesus' Spirit went for the 3 days his body was dead? Sacred Scripture says ",, that he went and preached to the spirits who lay in prison. " ( 1 Peter 3:19) Where was this prison? was it in Heaven? If so why would there be a prison in Paradise? Was the prison in the Hell of the Damned? If so why would the damned need to hear the Gospel? . as you say there is no "purgatory" then Jesus did not have to die on the cross. If Moses and Abraham and the rest of the OT Faithful were already in the presence of the Lord then Jesus did not have to die. His death on the cross opened the narrow gate and the OT faithful passed through that narrow gate from the wilderness into the Promised land. The OT Faithful that died waiting for the Messiah weren't in slavery in Egypt- the antetype of hell of the damned for they had been rescued but they weren't in the Promised land of heaven either. Jesus' death opened the narrow gate and fulfilled the Covenant. Please study the Hebrew thoughts of Sheol and the grave, and note that Sheol is NOT Gehenna. Gehenna is for the accursed and the Damned not Abraham or Moses. The waiting in the spiritual wilderness is the best explanation of "purgatory" Thanks for listening and remember Revelation 21 :17 & 1 Cor 3:15 especially verses 10-15. ----..

@@dsifreak10 Purgatory "For if he were not expecting that those who had fallen would rise again, it would have been superfluous and foolish to pray for the dead. But if he was looking to the splendid reward that is laid up for those who fall asleep in godliness, it was a holy and pious thought. Therefore he made atonement for the dead, that they might be delivered from their sin" (2 Macc. 12:44-45). "Make friends quickly with your accuser, while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison; truly, I say to you, you will never get out till you have paid the last penny" (Matt. 5:25-26). "Each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire" (1 Cor. 3:13-15). "For Christ also died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit; in which he went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly did not obey . . ." (1 Peter 3:18-20). "But nothing unclean shall enter it [heaven] . . ." (Rev. 21:27). The main body of Christians have always believed in the existence of a place between Heaven and Hell where souls go to be punished for lesser sins and to repay the debt of temporal punishment for sins which have been forgiven. Even after Moses was forgiven by God, he was still punished for his sin. (2 Kg. or 2 Sam. 12:13-14). The primitive Church Fathers regarded the doctrine of Purgatory as one of the basic tenets of the Christian faith. St. Augustine, one of the greatest doctors of the Church, said the doctrine of Purgatory ``has been received from the Fathers and it is observed by the Universal Church.'' True, the word ``Purgatory'' does not appear in the Bible, but a place where lesser sins are purged away and the soul is saved ``yet so as by fire,'' is mentioned. (1 Cor. 3:15). Also, the Bible distinguishes between those who enter Heaven straightaway, calling them ``the church of the firstborn'' (Heb. 12:23), and those who enter after having undergone a purgation, calling them ``the spirits of the just made perfect.'' (Heb. 12:23). Christ Himself stated: ``Amen I say to thee, thou shalt not go out from thence till thou repay the last farthing.'' (Matt. 5 :26). And: ``Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment.'' (Matt. 12:36). These are obviously references to Purgatory. Further, the Second Book of Machabees (which was dropped from the Scriptures by the Protestant Reformers) says: ``It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins.'' (2 Mach. 12:46). Ancient Christian tomb inscriptions from the second and third centuries frequently contain an appeal for prayers for the dead. In fact, the custom of praying for the dead--which is meaningless if there is no Purgatory--was universal among Christians for the fifteen centuries preceding the Protestant Reformation. Furthermore, ordinary justice calls for a place of purgation between Heaven and Hell. Take our own courts of justice, for example. For major crimes a person is executed or sentenced to life imprisonment (Hell); for minor crimes a person is sentenced to temporary imprisonment for punishment and rehabilitation (Purgatory); for no crime at all a person is rewarded with the blessing of free citizenship (Heaven). If a thief steals some money, then regrets his deed and asks the victim for forgiveness, it is quite just for the victim to forgive him yet still insist on restitution. God, who is infinitely just, insists on holy restitution. This is made either in this life, by doing penance (Matt. 3:2; Luke 3:8, 13:3; Apoc. 3:2-3, 19), or in Purgatory . Also, what Christian is there who, despite his faith in Christ and his sincere attempts to be Christlike, does not find sin and worldliness still in his heart? ``For in many things we all offend.'' (James 3:2). Yet ``there shall not enter into it [the new Jerusalem, Heaven] anything defiled.'' (Apoc. or Rev. 21:27). In Purgatory the soul is mercifully purified of all stain; there God carries out the work of spiritual purification which most Christians neglected and resisted on earth. It is important to remember that Catholics do not believe that Christ simply covers over their sinful souls, like covering a manure heap with a blanket of snow (Martin Luther's description of God's forgiveness). Rather, Christ insists that we be truly holy and sinless to the core of our souls. ``Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect.'' (Matt. 5:48). This growth in sinlessness--in Christian virtue and holiness--is of course the work of an entire lifetime (and is possible only through the grace of God). With many this cleansing is completed only in Purgatory. If there is no Purgatory, but only Heaven for the perfect and Hell for the imperfect, then the vast majority of us are hoping in vain for life eternal in Heaven. Scripture for Purgatory Luke 12:58-59; 1 Corinthians 3:15; Mathew 5:25-26 ... temporary agony. Hebrews 12:6-11 God's painful discipline. Mathew 12:32 no forgiveness ... nor in the age to come. 1 Peter 3:18-20 might be purgatory (limbo?). 1 Peter 4:6 preached to the dead. Revelations 21:27 ... nothing unclean shall enter heaven. Hebrews 12:23 souls in heaven are perfect. Colossians 1:24; 2 Sam 12:13-14 extra suffering. 2 Macabees 12:43-46 sacrifice for the dead. (not in Protestant Bibles) 2 Timothy 1:15-18 prayer for Onesiphorus for "that Day." 1 John 5:14-17 ... mortal/venial sins...

@@bibleman8010you can quote all of this and it STILL not back what the Catholic Church teaches as purgatory. Purgatory itself in nature is the opposite of the gospel. When Christ said “it is finished” you don’t actually believe that. You don’t believe that Christ could actually do and carry out all that is necessary for salvation. You take his sacrifice and smear mud on it because it isn’t good enough for you to have peace with the Father. Those places that Jesus visited were holding places until the work and prophesies of Jesus were complete. There was a place that those who did not have faith when they died went and a place for those who did have faith when they died went. They were two separate places but they were necessary UNTIL Jesus FINISHED the work. Not where people went to be “PURGED” and “PURIFIED” of their remaining sins that Jesus couldn’t cover. That is NEVER found in the scriptures. Please repent believe in the FULL work of Christ

(CCC) really says: 1362 The Eucharist is the memorial of Christ's Passover, the making present and the SACRAMENTAL offering of his unique sacrifice ... ... 1364 ... Christ offered once for all on the cross remains ever present. "As often as the sacrifice of the Cross by which 'Christ our Pasch [Passover Lamb] has been sacrificed' is celebrated on the altar, the work of our redemption is carried out." - 1 Cor 5:7. 1367 ... the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is ... [now] offered in an unbloody manner. . . " See Hebrews 9:14, 27-28. 1376 ... "Because Christ our Redeemer said that it was truly his body [Mt 26:26, Mk 14:22, John 6:55] that he was offering under the species [appearance] of bread ... there takes place a change of the whole substance of the bread into the substance of the body of Christ our Lord and of the whole substance of the wine into the substance of his blood ...transubstantiation." 1 John 5:13 I write these things to you so that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood,dwelleth in me, and I in him.” This was too much for many of his disciples and “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” Jesus turns to the 12 and asks, “Will ye also go away? Vs 61, Jesus did not back down, for He said, "Does this offend you?" it offends protestants. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. There is no other passage in the New testament other than John 6: 35-56 where Jesus emphasizes his teaching repeatedly. In the Gospel of John, four times our Lord says that he is the bread and five times He says that its his flesh we have to eat. He instituted this sacrament by giving his flesh to eat in the upper room in Jerusalem on the eve of the Passover (Matthew 26:26-28) We understand that Eucharistic sacrament he instituted was again celebrated at Emmaus after his resurrection (Luke 24: 30-31). Vs 54, "Whoever eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day." Did He say to eat the symbol of His flesh? Vs 55, Jesus said, "For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed." Vs 56, Jesus said, "He that eats My flesh and drinks My blood dwells in Me, and I in him." Did He say, 'He that eats a symbol of My flesh...'. How can a mere symbol fulfill this promise? Does only a symbol of Christ dwell in us? I thought GOD Himself dwelt within us, 1John 4:12-13. Vs 59, This verse shows that Jesus taught this discourse to all the people. Vs 60,They doubt a third time when many disciples said, "This is a hard saying, who can hear it"? The Jews were instilled by many Old Testament verses, admonishing them not to consume blood. See Deut 12:23, Lev 17:11and 14. They must have thought this was something akin to cannibalism. Is this what you think too? At any point did Jesus back down? Explain to me, if this chapter is symbolic, why did He not explain the symbolism to them? Vs 61, Jesus did not back down, for He said, "Does this offend you?" He knew their thoughts and He certainly knew the Old Testament verses about the consumption of blood. In the next verse, He separated spiritual things from earthly things. Vs 63*, Jesus said, "It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life." Did He say He was speaking figuratively or in parables? This is the second verse detractors use to try to "prove" that Jesus spoke figuratively for the whole chapter. Did Jesus say "My" flesh? No, He said "the" flesh. What Jesus had said was, that we cannot accept this mystery if we accept it in too human a way, by having an earthly view of things. Those who can only think of cannibalism, are they not having an earthly view? See John 3:6, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Verse 63 means that we should not have a carnal human understanding of His words, but a spiritual understanding. In John, chapter 6, Jesus had not only called the 12 Apostles, there was also much larger group of other disciples. Things seemed to be going pretty well. That is until Jesus said “For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood,dwelleth in me, and I in him.” This was too much for many of his disciples and “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” Jesus turns to the 12 and asks, “Will ye also go away? Simon Peter gives the same answer that I find myself saying to those who tell me I should leave the Catholic Church for this reason or that one, “Lord, to whom shall we go?” No matter what a certain priest does, no matter what scandals hit the church, despite whatever corruption or abuse of power might exist, and despite whatever mistakes the Church has made throughout history, “to whom shall we go?” for here is the body and blood of Christ given for a sinner as miserable as I. Matt. 26:26-28; Mark. 14:22,24; Luke 22;19-20; 1 Cor. 11:24-25 - Jesus says, this IS my body and blood. Jesus does not say, this is a symbol of my body and blood. Matt. 26:26; Mark. 14:22; Luke 22:19-20 - the Greek phrase is "Toutoestin to soma mou." This phraseology means "this is actually" or "this is really" my body and blood.

Galations 5:6 in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.(charity which Paul says is greater than Faith ..... Works charity which Paul calls charity love which is greater than faith 2:6-7 Here’s what Paul says: For he will render to every man according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life "And if I should have prophecy and should know all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2 (St Paul). What is charity other than helping the needy? Charity is clearly considered among good works. "And now there remain faith, hope, and charity, these three: but the greatest of these is charity." (1 Corinthians 13:13). This clearly puts charity BEFORE faith, so to say "faith alone" is all that is required of us is clearly contrary to Scripture. Then there's verse Titus 3:14, where Paul says, “Let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need.” You see a need, and in love you try to meet it-that's a good work. Good works are the overflow of love for Christ that meets the needs of others. This is exactly what Paul says in Titus 3:8: “The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works.” By your stubbornness and impenitent heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgment of God, who will repay everyone according to his works: eternal life to those who seek glory, honor, and immortality through perseverance in good works, but wrath and fury to those who selfishly disobey the truth and obey wickedness." (Rom 2: 5-8) Wherefore, brethren, labor the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election." 2 Peter 1:10...

What does Jesus say about being born again. If you are born again you will have a new heart wanting to help and love others. You are deceived by religious teachings and not what the Bible says about salvation. I love you and don't want you to go to Hell. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him: Verily verily I say unto thee unless a man is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of God. You must be spiritually reborn by Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 3:10-12 as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not one. 2 Corinthians 5:17 If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things passed away, behold all things become new. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away". Only Jesus Christ blood cleanses us from sin by death on the cross but one must give your life to him and give up your own life. Matthew 16:24-25 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

He is not talking about absolutely everyone...

About the miracles. That can never be a litmus test for whether or not someone has the Biblical Gospel right. Matthew 7:22- Many will come to me in that day and say "Lord, Lord didn't I do many wonderful works in your name and prophesied in Your name?" He will then say to them I never knew you. It's not about relationship it's about accepting the free gift of grace through Jesus Christ without trusting in any works to be saved. Those who are not covered by the blood of Jesus through the prescribed Biblical way to be saved, will not inherit the Kingdom of God. I wonder why they didn't bring up praying through saints. That's a huge issue for Christians as well.

@bibleman8010
@bibleman8010 Ай бұрын
@@courtneyko1466 what's the finished work you haven't a clue👏👏 To begin to figure this out, we should start at the Last Supper. “While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, and said, ‘Take it; this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, ‘This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many. Amen, I say to you, I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.’ Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.” (Mk. 14:22) Let’s follow up with a scripture when Jesus is in the garden of Gethsemane shortly after. “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will.” (Mt. 26:39) What is this “fruit of the vine” and “this cup” that Jesus is talking about? Well, if you look at the history and how the Passover is performed, you’ll find that they did not finish the Passover feast. After they sung the hymns they should have had another cup of wine. To the ancient Jews this would be crazy to leave off the Passover at this point. Simply put, the Passover was unfinished. So let’s fast forward to when Jesus is carrying his cross and one of the soldiers offered him wine mixed with myrrh (which they did back then to help with the pain since myrrh is like a pain killer). Jesus refused to drink it, though. (Mk 15:23) I don’t know about Jesus, but if I was already in excruciating pain and heading to even more agonizing pain, I would take that myrrh. It may have been that He was giving His all to suffer for us, but I think it is a bit more than that. Let’s fast forward again to Jesus’ last words, “…in order that the scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, ‘I thirst.’ There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, ‘It is finished.’” (Jn 19:28-30) So is Jesus saying that just because He received some wine, everything He has worked for is finished? I hope not. Was Jesus just simply thirsty? No. This was to fulfill scripture and finish what he started at the Passover. He had to drink that last cup of wine or “fruit of the vine”. But wait! They did one last thing during the Passover. They had to eat a sacrificed lamb. When looking into this, you begin to see many similarities between the Passover, and Jesus’ crucifixion. Notice above that John 19:29 specifically mentioned that the wine was put on a hyssop branch. During the first Passover they used hyssop branches to sprinkle the blood of the lamb on the doors. Next, you should recall, that in John 19:33 that the soldiers were going around breaking the victim’s legs, but when they got to Jesus they instead pierced his side. “For this happened so that the scripture passage might be fulfilled: ‘Not a bone of it will be broken.’” (Jn 19:36) When they killed the lambs during Passover, the lamb could not have any broken bones. Jesus is the Lamb of God. “For our paschal lamb, Christ, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast,…” (1 Cor 5:7) Jesus in Revelation is described as “a Lamb that seemed to have been slain.” (Rev 5:6) What happens to the lamb in order to finish the Passover? When I tell my family that “It is finished,” the “it” is referring to the food and requires an action. If I told them the food was done and no one came to eat any of it, all my time and energy I spent preparing the meal would have been to no avail. Jesus died for our sins, but not before leaving us something very important - the Eucharist. Let us make use of what He has given us and not let the “it” be for nothing.

Here's the full chapter for you. Actually read the Bible and Don't just read verses your priest tells you to memorize ‭1 Corinthians 13:1-13 AMP‬ [1] If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. [2] And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing. [3] If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all. [4] Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. [5] It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. [6] It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. [7] Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. [8] Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. [9] For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete]. [10] But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away. [11] When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. [12] For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. [13] And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love

(about the time your way of interpreting Scripture came about!) and you just might find out a few things about the "Faith Once Delivered really show me in the bible This office has now expired then show me where thiese have expired as well John 20:21 John 20:22 John 20:23 Matt. 9:8 Matt. 9:6; Mark 2:10 Luke 5:24 Matt. 18:18 John 20:22-23; Matt. 18:18 2 Cor. 2:10 2 Cor. 5:18 James 5:15-16 1 Tim. 2:5 Lev. 5:4-6; 19:21-22 James 5:16 James 5:14-15 Acts 19:18 Matt. 3:6; Mark 1:5 1 Tim. 6:12 1 John 1:9 Num. 5:7 2 Sam. 12:14 Neh. 9:2-3 Sir. 4:26 Baruch 1:14 1 John 5:16-17; Luke 12:47-48 Matt. 5:19...

Catholicism is the only Christian Faith . They are lead in worship By the Pope The Bishop Of Rome for those People who say the word Pope isn’t in the Bible, who was given the Keys to Heaven From Jesus . Through Apostolic succession From Peter the First Pope they worship Jesus, And thru The Holy Tradition Of the Saints formed the Bible , Biblical doctrines, Such as the Trinity, Sunday service, Easter, And Christmas teach Grace alone for salvation, Did not remove books From the Bible but preserved the writings of the Jewish Old testament which the protestants threw out , Catholics want to worship Jesus with all 5 of their senses . • Music for the ears, • Incense for the nose, • Statues and art for the eyes, 😊😊 Please pray a sincere prayer with all of your heart admitting to Jesus you are a sinner. Have full faith that His blood pays off all of your sins and accept His gift of everlasting life. And give your confession to a Priest Jesus never said to confess your sins to either him Or to the Father pray that God blesses you with peace. Amen The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! :D Say this Prayer Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

You are spiritually bankrupt and given over to a reprobate mind. Satan rules the Pope and Rome. Please repent and follow the objectively true Gospel in Christ through faith in Him alone by grace alone.

The term "Christian" started as a slur. The original name for Christians were called "the Way" a reference to John 14:6

I’m going to say my Catholic brother are not saved I’m no way to say that but even as a atheist I read the Bible and had seen no evidence of some of their believes

You CAN say they are not saved because they are deceived by a different gospel, which in Paul's words in Galatians "isn't a gospel at all"

So as an atheist you’re approaching the Bible with an assumption that the Protestant doctrine of sola scriptura is true, and judging catholic teachings on that protestant framework? As an atheist? Why would you do that?
