While prayer is needed, you must become the light/salt under the Lordship of our Saviour Jesus Christ. "To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law of Christ) that I may gain them that are without law." 1cor 9:21. You must submit to your husband in doing your wifely duties, but never deter from the law of Christ. If he says cook, then cook, if clean the house, then do that. We are called to 'hate' them when their request is contrary to what Jesus taught. My husband was an unbeliever, and I thank God for His wisdom that He taught me concerning this. Wives may hate the word submission, but that is God's spoken word that will not return to Him void (and he shall rule thee. Gen3:16). May the Lord grant you guidance and peace in this word and save your husband.

1 Timothy 2:11 says that you should be quiet and submissive to your husband. So you shouldn't be teaching him anything, according to the Bible.

@@kyleisaacson4852 taking it completely out of context- she shouldn’t be “quiet and submissive” to her husband especially if he doesn’t have a relationship with Christ. Christ Calls us to be the light in this world so that he’ll work through us to help plant seeds in unbelievers. Do your research before saying such bold things.

Me and my husband just got married in November. Been together 6 years and he always said and shown signs of believing in God but just yesterday he told me, “I’ll go to church with you if u can get someone to convince me God is real” I’m just in shock. Idk who I married anymore

I’ve been praying for my husband. I told him last night I was going to be baptised and he was so angry, he argued with me a lot. I went upstairs and prayed for him. Prayed the Lord would reveal Himself to him, I pray every day. He apologised this morning. I’ll keep praying

Thanks for the encouragement. I was a believer but backslid, divorced and then re-married. By a pure miracle of Christ Jesus, I was renewed in my faith via a workmate. God gave her a dream to tell me she had found Christ. That is all it took. I felt those living waters pour out of my heart and life in Christ was flowing in me. However, my husband is an atheist and hates every mention of Jesus. He never sits with us if I have Christian friends over. He will not deny me the right to go to church and live a Christian life. He just doesn't want anything to do with it. That is so sad as I love him very deeply and would love him to know Jesus.

Well, you can pray all you want but your Bible says that your husband went to hell for being Jewish. Jews don't believe Jesus was anything but a prophet. According to the Bible you need to believe that Jesus died for your sins. So according to your religion your husband is being tortured for all eternity.

Thank you for your video part 1 it gave me such relief knowing I don’t have to divorce my unbelieving husband because that was something I didn’t want to go through with my 4 children although I have 5 children the first wasn’t biologically his and my husband did a lot of mentally harm to my first child and me I have been married to my husband for 16 years and have met my lord savior in my marriage and my husband is a none believer so I need a lot of prayers and strength.

Im in an emotionally destructive marriage, currently living separately. We have two small children together. Please pray for spouses salvation! My youngest child is almost 3. Very unfortunate season/situation.

I had ups in down in my christian walk.i got with my husband and had a child during a time i wasnt putting God first.now im trying to make it work and lead by example its hard because he has a bad peoblem with lying and also we have issues with my brother in law.he allows him to upset our marriage and refuses to defend me when it comes to anything to do with him.im praying that God can remove this brother from our marriage as he is an obstacle in the peace and intimacy we could have

Statistically mixed faith marriages can and do work as long as both parties are committed to respect and tolerance of differences in belief. If however you're bound and bent toward intolerance and zealotry then maybe it won't work.

@hc2rocks -Heather Chaney-Holtner I can relate to this, being married to an unsaved husband, who proclaimed to be saved when we married but backslid just after marriage, actually the signs were there but I ignored them I would also strongly advise against compromising on this, do not be unequally yoked

I am an "unbelieving" man married to a Christian woman. Overall we have a great relationship. It isn't perfect but what marriage is? Our religious differences do not intrude because we are compatible in so many other ways. The key is tolerance and respect. Stats tell us that mixed faith relationships can and do work. But it's up to each person. Far better to be married to a kind, caring and loving atheist than to marry a believing Christian who lacks those qualities.

socksumi I hear you sir, but marriage in the biblical sense has to be between 2 believers bc there is a component that will always be lacking in your marriage. A Christian marriage puts Christmas in the Center of their relationship and "pray" together. So this is something that will always be missing bc your marriage is not based on a triangle love story with God. But just a line between you too. Not the purpose of marriage according to the bible. But anyway, thanks for your tolerance allowing her to leave her faith.

Yes it is very possible to get along and love each other but it is very hard to live by the Bible and walk with god how he means for a her to with a husband that is not with her in it. helping her walk it out keeping god as the center of everything. As someone in the same type Of relationship myself, I know all to well, how difficult it is not to be dragged down and into the sin of someone that I live with and do everything with. As Christians it is not even a good ideal to have unbelieving friends because they are a bad influence. How much worse is a unbelieving spouse 😪

He does not sound like a believer sister. However, you don't need a word here. You can ask your Heavenly Father and He will tell you. Only He knows for certain. If he is an unbeliever, the consequences of marriage can be high.

I know this comment was posted 2 years ago but I pray you didn't move forward with the marriage. The Bible encourages believers not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Now if you had been married to Him and have recently been born again then you would have to remain in the marriage in spite of his beliefs.

If the marriage is happy that's all that matters. Period. You love one another that's all that matters. why would you want to convert your significant other to a religion whose holy book condone slavery, the stoning to death of children and adulterers, the murdering of homosexuals and a book that tells a story of a god who committed Mass genocide by drowning everyone in a worldwide flood, including babies, infants and unborn children? 1 Timothy 2:11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 12I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. Lastly the Bible says this woman should not be teaching and should be remaining quiet. So it's very clear that this woman doesn't even follow the Bible, so why should you even listen to her? According to the Bible she should be silent in listening to her husband.
