@@ChristianRauchenwald I think we started when there were less than 100k pioneers. For some reason I was thinking it launched in 2016, but yeah we started early. She didn't fare as well getting people to sign up like I did, but I am satisfied with how its turned out so far. Can't be anything but humble at this point and be thankful we have mined what we have and contributed as best we could.

100% agree, but if/when Pi adds a marketplace to the app it will likely only be available for KYC verified accounts because they need to make sure that only coins from verified human beings and not from bots/users with multiple accounts get into circulation and would likely need to add manpower to moderate the offers to prevent scams.

With around $1.6 million you can live an "average" life just from your moneys interest if you invest it properly, but you are not even close to driving Lambo's and first-class plane tickets. Anyway, no matter which value Pi achieves it's going to be profit and we'll just have to use Pi where we can to give it a purpose and help increase demand and therefore it's value.

Yes, but IF you'd then just sell all your coins at $100 per coin (and others would do the same) the value would drop below $1 in just a few seconds or minutes. It's like when people say that Elon Musk is worth X billion USD, and they forget that most of his net worth are shares in Tesla and if he'd want to cash in on them he would also drive the price of Tesla down, so he would get less money than what his shares are worth right now.

Yes, KYC is random, and last I heard you won't get the invitation until you completed at least 100 days of "mining" to not waste KYC slots on users that lose interest after just a few days or weeks. So, no worry, just keep pressing the ⚡️ icon once per day until you receive your KYC invitation.

Takes some time because the project is new and the company didn't show up in any register for some time. For now my opinion on Bee is "doesn't hurt to collect the coin and we'll see if updates in the future make it a legit project or show that it's some kind of scam". And for those worried about their data within Bee Network, either invest $50 in a cheap Android phone to run apps you don't fully trust or run the app in an emulated Android phone on your computer using BlueStacks.

However they do not have the technology to build a "decentralized SCP protocol" blockchain. Pi team is doing research and building it from scratch. They will succeed but what will happen to bee is anybody's guess.

I don't know about that, mostly because BTC and Pi serve two completely different purposes and have a huge difference in max. supply. But Pi, IMHO, has definitely a lot of potential.

Every user earns at least 2.4 Pi per 24 hours without inviting anyone or adding people to their security circle. That's up to 73 Pi per month. Now, if you consider that Pi likely won't trade for $100 in phase three (initially) and you join TPL until phase three (which should be at the end of 2021/early 2020) you'd pay a total of 50 Pi until December (if you don't cancel your membership until then) but earned at least around 657 Pi. In return you can then spend 1 Pi and buy something worth $100 and you can also sell things for Pi. So, I don't see it as a downside because you can use your coins right now at a value that most likely is higher than what you'll get for them once we reach phase three and you also have the chance to collect more Pi coins by selling products or services. As mentioned there are even channels to sell your pre-owned goods if you want. Not to mention that the monthly fee is quite justified if you think about the effort the moderators put into running the community and making the whole thing possible. But sure, if you want to wait and not participate within TPL that's obviously fine as well.
