Nah, you should get a 50 inch 4K in the horror room. The TVs themselves upscale the blu rays anyways especially if the player has a 4K upscaler, you won't notice much of a difference. Fact is, 4K isn't that much higher in resolution from blu ray, it's more about brighter and more vibrant colors with 4K.....that's basically it. Most movies were not shot in 4K even the newer ones you see now, everything is still shot in 2K.

@@PlanetCHH You don't really need the 4K discs for everything is what I'm getting at. If a blu ray has a 4K transfer then you're not going to notice much of a difference on a 4K tv, if it's a non remastered blu ray then a 4K disc or scan on a blu ray would be the best to get.....it just depends on the transfers. 4K discs really don't have a much higher resolution than standard blu ray like a lot of 4K fans claim, it's more about richer colors and deeper blacks in the transfers. 4K discs are more for hardcore videophiles since most people don't give a shit about the discs, they just get the 4K tvs mostly lol. Get a tv definitely though.
