God is far more concerned about our faith than our feelings. There have been times I've felt down, but knew by faith God will guide me forward. There have been times my feelings were thrilled, but it was by faith God delivered me.

God has been telling me to walk by faith not my feelings, but I’ve been struggling because the feelings were so overwhelming when I first came to Christ, and now it’s very dry and I start to panic or feel like God has left me because I don’t feel Him and His presence like I used to, which leads me to backslide due to my doubt and makes it worse. I know He’s using this season of discipline, testing and pruning to grow me for my own good, I’m just struggling to bring that from my head into my heart. Prayers would be appreciated, thank you brothers and sisters in Christ.

As a Christian counselor, I think it’s important to state that this process, depending on your wiring, is harder for some than others. It’s true nonetheless, but hopefully encouraging for someone to hear that some people’s moods are small rain showers, while other’s are tornados. It’s harder for you. God knows and sees you fighting. Hold fast to Him

2:08 you know ive always found this "brian wiring" language interesting, especially as someone with autism. Now, obviously my autism wasnt *cured* but to say my brain was in that sense "rewired" after I was saved does sound about right. Of course, in that sense im still being rewired every day. 2:54 im actually more likely to think "what can I do about this situation" which, clearly, I need to humble myself, acknowledge my lack of agency, and give it to God. 4:12 im pretty good at this one but in general I feel like my patience is tested constantly. I am currently living in a very stagnant season of life... 5:02 oh. So its not about patience its about ability to commit. Well in some areas ive gotten really good at that, but others... Not so much. 5:24 at 22 years old im a bit late to that train but I am creating a list of verses as I go through the new testament that I want to memorize. And ill just keep them on my heart. 5:37 the second one, but sometimes to a degree where I push too hard. And then they get mad... 7:25 no but I have at times said something I dont believe. 8:20 the second one. 9:10 well I dont get unjustly accused often but probably the first one. But I do have a bad habit of giving internet arguments way too much time of day.

As to following God’s commands and desires?When we go from got to to get to, it’s a whole new journey of His will over ours, and it’s freeing and glorious to the Lord. My motto: You can’t offend me, but if you do, it lasts a minute, then I’m done with it!

Every Christian and non Christian is a hypocrite in one aspect or another. That's why we need God to do a perfect work in us. We will never be truly righteous but we can be made more and more like Jesus if we let God work on us. Sometimes it's easier to see others sin while ignoring our own and it inflates our ego. I used to hate on people that would do certain things and one day God opened my eyes to my own hypocrisies and I was a wreck. For over a year I couldn't look at myself because God made me aware of my own sins. Getting high on Kratom and watching filth online chief among them. I have a laundry list of sins that I still beat myself up for. I used to think I was a different kind of person but I was worse than the worst of them. I was without excuse. I knew God or thought that I did and I still dove headlong into sin. Find fellowship with believers but don't look for perfection. Every saved man and woman has a messed up past and every one of them have imperfections, you included. Love you brother.

Unless of course calvinisim is true, then it dosent matter how many questions you ask yourself, your life will only be transformed if god has eternally and sovereignly ordained it to. Remember, free will is a myth, you can only ever do what god has ordained you to do.
@creetan9997
@creetan9997 3 ай бұрын
Wrong. You need to rethink what free will is. Because if we are going to use your reasoning (your false idea on what calvinism teaches), it wouldn't matter what Calvinism teaches and whether it is true or not. Free will does not mean that there is no limit to the decision you can actually make. If you disagree then go flap your arms and take off flying. Or go in the ocean in depths, with no gear or vessels, where pressure would kill you, not before the lack of oxygen would first. Or go tell everyone the bible is wrong when it says we are slaves to sin. Slaves have no free will. There is a track set in front of us that is for us to run through. How we go through with it is up to us. Being a slave to sin obviously obstructs us. It is only through God interfering can we actually run that track. Either we are a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness (don't remember the verse, I think Paul said it). No righteousness can be achieved by us alone. It is only through God, and it is only through Him are we able to be as free as we can.
