My school had “clubs” in class. You were either in the Britney group, Christina group, or pink group. We just sat together during recess and talked about why they were the best. 😂 I was in whoever’s song I liked last, so it changed every other day

I feel like so many kids in the 80s and 90s thought they could be famous, or were inspired to be performers. Or do something with music at least. Before Idol or X Factor, we had Mickey Mouse Club, Kids Incorporated, Star Search… all telling us we can be stars! 😂

What??????😮😮😮 I never knew she did Apollo. Been loving her since my childhood days. I was 9 when this was aired on tv. got her first cd on my 10th birthday.. I'm 33 now. What in the hell has time go by so fast? Missed the 90s badly and everyday 😥😥😥 When I don't have to worry about paying bills, just plain simple life. Christina rocks!!!!

You can gain stuff too (like knowledge or wisdom or whatever skills) but there's just something with being young or in your teens or even early 20s that you can't replicate when older, an intangible magic and vitality that is simply impossible to retain.

The best I think of her debut era. In tune, solid tone that broke through. She didn't oversing, amd what she did change was so musical. She gave a full performance.
