Hello Beauties! In addition to Low Buy I'm getting very inspired and intrigued by the concepts of Minimalism and doing more with less, so what better place to start in the journey than with my closet? I haven't formally decluttered and organized my closet for a good 6 months, so I'm majorly due. This won't be some extreme closet declutter (although I managed to get rid of 5 bags of clothing and shoes), but it's a start on a slow and steady process I'm taking myself through in order to surround myself with things that bring me joy and that bring value. I want to really start to declutter my space in order to declutter my mind. I truly wasn't focusing on this before.
Previously, I felt I was focusing on how to acquire MORE or NEW without guilt, and I still think this is important. However lately I'm really starting to see the value in having LESS.
As I've gone through my Stuff Pile, I realized I'm putting a lot of time, energy and emotion into it, when instead I could better use that time getting to know myself, instead of just getting to know my Stuff.
This will be the first video in a Minimalism Series, where I plan to tie these concepts into my Low Buy and Dept Repayment, as I think the two are very closely tied, soI want to explore that more. I hope you guys are into that!

An idea: If you love just admiring the vintage fringe jacket, then just hang it up as a wall display, similar to a macrame wall hanging display. No shame if you only use it as decoration!

I really enjoy how real you are about your shopping problem and your future goals. I think most of us have or had a shopping problem at one point. You mentioned here buying several graphic tees from the same artist because they looked good at the time. This reminds me so much of myself. For me it was spiritual gangster hoodies. A new one would come out and I loved the way it looked on the model and had to have it. When I did a big declutter last year, I got rid of all but one. Sometimes less really is more and it’s sad we waste so many dollars before realizing that. But I’m thankful to get to watch your journey. It’s not curated and perfect. It’s messy and beautiful and I can see the struggle sometimes. And I appreciate you for sharing that and for acknowledging when you can do better and also when you’re proud of yourself. You’re a true gem. 🤎

So relatable, esp the “staple” items that aren’t staples for your style and preference and items that survive multiple declutters only to get tossed eventually.

I loved this video. You should do a video making yourself wear your maybe pile out of the house just for I day for each item and see if you really like them. It would be a interesting video.

This is how you do a declutter! It can be hard to part with items especially if you’ve associated it with nostalgia, $$$ or time spent searching for it. Every season I go through and really think about whether or not it fits my style or serves a purpose. Thank you for the inspiration!

You did great! I just decluttered 10 items from my wardrobe and I feel lighter! Since selling online is complicated for me and the items are not very new I’ll be donating. I also decluttered some home decor (it used to be my problem). Thanks for your videos! They’re very helpful!

Love watching declutters!! One thing I do with certain items that I don’t wear but there’s nothing wrong with them, is put them in a backpack or bag to keep in my car. I drive a ways for work and keeping extra clothes in my vehicle has helped me several times!!! One time I got caught in torrential rain and having a change of clothes saved me from having to drive home soaking wet 😂

Wow what is it about these decluttering videos that is so calming (and inspiring). Ps I use the app style book to keep track of what I own/wear etc, plus you can make outfits on it👍🏼
