I love your fireplace mantel! I want to put up Christmas decor but one of my kids has a birthday in early December so we wait until after their birthday, so they can feel special on their day.

Yes!! I have 1 tree left to put up...its our big one. We have kittens and a toddler this year so I’m a little nervous but so far they have been leaving our pencil tree alone 🤞🏻

Oh wow, i would open all the windows at 50 degrees and everyone would be in shorts and sweatshirts where i live. I would kill for 50 degrees more often. 29 degrees is where we start to say it's cold.

I love how cozy, inviting, and festive your home looks! Some of these videos I see have decor that is completely devoid of personality and warmth. It’s Christmas! When I was a kid I loved how cozy it was. I would’ve been sad in these sterile, “glam” homes. Yours looks so awesome!

Amy, you did a wonderful job decorating. Simple, but festive. I am a minimalist myself, so the bows in the pops of colors really bring a cozy feel to decorations you have. Hadn’t seen the Elf cookies at our market. Absolutely adorbs!!! Looks like the children loved helping to bake...and eat them. Happy Holidays!!

I love that you use the large ziploc bags too in order to organize decor while placing it in the appropriate rooms for the following year! (I’m not ocd lol wink 😉 💁‍♀️). Seriously, I do the same thing and it makes next year’s decor go so much more smoothly! Great video❤️!

GREAT JOB!! When I was a kid, wayyy back in the 70s... my mom had a rule. NO “kids” Christmas decor until after Santa finished his part in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But, add to that: We celebrate according to the Christian Calendar. We celebrated Advent, my mom loves advent!!! No tree decorating until Christmas morning. My Mom is an Epiphany Baby. The 12 days of Christmas (religious) are very important. We would start Christmas Eve with appropriate pieces of the Nativity to the Christmas Story in the Bible. The 3 Wisemen would be put far away from the manger scene... we’d move them closer with each Day of the Christmas Season until the Day of the Epiphany; my Mom would place them around Baby Jesus before her Birthday breakfast... Such a special Season ✝️
