Awwweee honey. You’re home tour turned out great. Everything looks so beautiful. It’s very earthy and organic while still celebrating the sparkle, snow and magic of Christmas. I love it so much. I also love how every room ties together with the fairy lights, the bountiful trees and the beautiful garlands over the windows. So funny how we chose the same Christmas plates this year. Good news is, together, we could host quite a large party 🤗. You did such a nice job of taking us through each room and explaining what you did. I’m very proud of you Sharrah. 😘 Mom

Hygge - in Denmark they use it to mean cosy, warm, inviting. Particularly in the winter months, it’s about candles and throws and a fireplace and soft lighting…

I do a tree thing too! I started having different themed decorations for each room’s trees, so I accumulated a lot of trees over the years! I’ve simplified quite a bit but I loved having garlands over my windows and doorways! I would incorporate the same-themed ornaments, berries and picks that I had used on the different trees, so each room was coordinated! I LOVED the look but it’s a ton of work!!! But as you can attest, a garland-swagged doorway looks gorgeously grand!

Love, love this, it's very warm and cozy with a Norse feeling, this is how I especially love to decorate, yes it must be the heritage. Love the reference and placement of the quote from Home Alone! I especially love that your home doesn't look "decorated", your eye takes in the home and the feel of the home for the time of year, it's the curiosity as a viewer to take a further look to each item. BEAUTIFUL!!! If I could have given this 2 thumbs up I would have! I love EVERYTHING about it!! I love how everything is so light and airy, but still very warm and cozy. I have been in my home for almost 6 years now and its already furnished, but my style has changed and I hope to move toward something similar to this style.

I'm so excited to find your channel. I'd love to hear any tips you might have for folks who have a lot of books, lol. We're a homeschooling family and we're always looking for ways to organize and decorate our home while maintaining a balance between our homeschool supplies and our home. I absoulty love your sweet home and how you have decorated it! I wish I could do the same! I've been sick for five years. I broke my femur in July and I'm still not able to walk by myself!!
