My favorite Christmas tradition is the candlelight Christmas Eve service at my church. The church is decorated in greenery and red ribbons. The lights are dimmed which accents the candles at the front of the church. We sing Christmas hymns. The last song that we sing is Silent Night which we sing acapella. It’s just beautiful and keeps my focus and the true meaning of why we celebrate.

Favorite Christmas tradition is to sign the "Posadas" songs (a mexican way to represent Joseph and Mary search for shelter before baby Jesus was born). We split in 2 groups, one singing from inside the house , the other from outside. The last part of the song represents baby Jesus´s birth and everyone gets into the house with a joyful song. After singing posada, we break a piñata.

My favorite Christmas tradition is that my local church back home in maryland is such a big congregation that they rent out the “cow palace” at the state fairgrounds and they host Christmas eve masses in a barn! Just like the first Christmas. It is so festive and so cherished by me!

Obsessed with the garlands and the bells, that alone makes the house look so beautiful!!! The simple tree with the lights. I have the same bells but now I want more to decorate more areas in my apartment

wow... stunning. Even though we couldn't be more different in style.. I loved all the old wood and feel of last years look... I have an oxblood red wall in my living room which sets the mood for the whole house. Plus I have a very small little house. Your dress is pure perfection, and that sweet face on your little boy just melts my heart

In Denmark, on Christmas Eve we sing Danish Christmas songs while holding hands in a circle and walking around the Christmas tree. That’s my favourite tradition, and it’s also found in Sweden I think

Beautiful!! Funny how the bears went perfectly with the dark and light decor. Re: the music...my Mom found out she was pregnant with me at Christmastime and chose the name Gloria Joy after two favorite carols. My fav holiday traditions is doing Christmas crafts.

Beautiful! I started a tradition with my grandson when he was born with a Christmas ornament every year with his name and the year on it. He is seven and has helped pick the ornament for the past several years. It brings me joy.

My theme LAST year was nativities throughout the house & I bought that same picture at Hobby Lobby! I LOVE it and can’t wait to use it again this year in a different spot! Your house is perfectly decorated. Great job!❤️

I personally much prefer the original style of the house with the classy, dark wood and the deeper colours. But that’s, of course, a matter of personal taste. Your house turned out so lovely, and it really shows how much attention to detail you put into everything. Greetings from Austria.

@@panampia Yes, unfortunately. It was what gave the house its unique, rare character. Now it looks like every generic Scandinavian inspired home. Very tasteful, of course, but the charming warmth and mystery that naturally comes with the age of such a house is now lost, sadly.

Your confusing workmanship (the actual creation of the woodwork) with color. Dark wood isn’t classier than white, but it is old looking. And heavy. And somber. That’s how people often were back then, very somber. But now, people are trying to be light & joyful & have fun with their life. And heavy dark wood work, does not feel that way. White painted wood is beautiful because it represents light, bright & happy. The shape, texture & interest that the white wood trim gives is still there, but the heaviness of the darkness is gone.

I love the simplicity and theme you have chosen this year Sharrah. For my family, Christmas “officially” starts on 3 November after Halloween (All Hallows’ Eve), All Saints’ Day (All Hallows Day) and All Souls’ Day. But, it actually feels like Christmas when I see the Kinwoven videos.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ The home looks beautiful with the holiday decor. Regarding your question of traditions, well we have 7 Christmas trees and 6 of them are fully decorated, however, the last one is decorated by the guest as we celebrate Christmas eve, and everyone brings a Christmas ornament to decorate the last tree. In addition, everyone brings their favorite home made dish to contribute to the festive evening. I adore Scout sitting on the highchair. The CHRISTmas Nativitys are wonderful. The structure of the home and the white paint is most delightful. I must say that the throw back to the 1950s is not my cup of tea....but to each our own. Merry CHRISTmas!

It’s beautiful and goes so well with the rest of your decor! I have to say that I did also love the way it was decorated last year too! My favorite Christmas tradition is singing the Twelve days of Christmas while putting the corresponding ornaments on the tree. Each family member gets a part and it always ends up hilarious.

Really beautiful and grand. I'm glad you celebrate with joy and think about the real meaning of Christmas. I cannot imagine having all the Christmas decor for three months. In Spain most people start decorating the 6th 7th and 8th of December because these days are national holidays and people gave time to decorate with the children. As my children are older now I start decorating a few days before Christmas. Enjoy your beautiful house.

Eve of Dec. 5th - put out our shoes in front of bedroom doors for Sinter Klaus to put either coal or goodies inside, depending on how good/bad we were this year...still do it for my adult kids! And the cheapie Advent Chocolate Calendars...still do those too! And chocolate hanging ornaments on the tree - each Sunday, you can eat one... Okay - is this all Chocolate related??? There seems to be a theme!!!

OK, not even a minute into watching and I already love it! Everything looks so white, bright and light. So, simple and elegant. The most important was the nativity displays which is why we celebrate Christmas. Unto us a child was born. To give us a future and a hope. Our Savior and our Lord Jesus!

My hubby has had leukemia and had kidney cancer surgery this past Dec. Im usually the one giving trees away for cancer families each yr and I'm not up to really doing much this yr. I miss those touches. My Parents passed 8 months apart in ministry in Tulsa area. We so loved Christmas decorating together. I just tonight found and subscribed to your channel. I just searched your video out and watched it again, because it is my absolute favourite Christmas decor look!! You keep calling it organic and natural, but I think it looks elegant and simply beautiful! it is not over the top or cluttered or cutesy. I does emphasize the birth of the Saviour in a simply elegant way. I give you the first and the only prize for really doing what you set out to do. I hope I can incorporate without copying the wonderful elements you used. I have my parent's original nativity scene they bought for their first Christmas as a married couple in 1934! I also have a nativity collection that I place around my home. That is one of my favourite traditions.

In the Philippines, most of the homes are decorated on September just like you and your family .Family tradition that I miss is attending the midnight mass and the 9 morning mass . Simple. But Elegant Christmas decor !

Its simple, clean, yet still elegant! It has a warmth and airiness to it. Great way to keep it baby safe (no flocking, breakable ornaments, hazards, etc) but still beautiful as well!

I honestly love everything about Christmas!!!! I think because I was born on Christmas it is just naturally a part of me. Lol. I enjoy decorating, cooking, wrapping, and giving during this time of year!!!

My family does a yearly Christmas crawl. Each year we pick a Saturday close to Christmas. One family hosts appetizers, the next hosts dinner, the last hosts dessert. We visit each home and get to see the holiday decorations at each home. We caravan through the various neighborhoods and look at the neighborhood decorations as well. In between we visit other family members homes. This way we get to see everyone's home beautifully decorated for the season. We always have so much fun! We pick up more friends and family along the way. The trip can go into severally suburbs and lasts way into the night depending on how many family members join up. I always make us a signature cocktail each year.

Beautiful!! The greenery looks like the real thing! One of our newest traditions is family games. We always try to sneak that in between the food and gift opening...

It's beautiful! So simple but, elegant. A splendor of beauty that is not easy to capture. A Christmas tradition in my home is I buy a new ornament for my tree that has a significant meaning for the year.

Love the decor. So simple yet has an air of elegance about it. I've gone all out the last couple of years but seeing your decor really makes me want to do a more organic, simple yet stunning decor. And one of my favorite Xmas traditions was having an avant wreath and lighting one candle every Sunday and eating Christmas cookies, especially homemade ones from family friends.

Mrs Ricky here. Every year we made mom and daughter ornaments Her first Christmas I made snowbabies from a pair of her socks. But every year after that we made matching ornament but our own way. Even after she joined the Marine Corp we continued. At 22 she was able to move off base. The day after Thanksgiving she open a box from mom with 21 ornaments handmade by Mom. She is 30 now and a wounded warrior and we still made an ornament every year for each other. I still hang every ornament she made me!

Great job Sharrah! So pleasing to the eye. It just occurred to me that your house has a similar layout to the Home Alone house. You'd better hide all the sleds, before you catch Sawyer taking a ride down that staircase & out the front door! LOL

We have so many Christmas traditions but one of my favorite family traditions is board games! We are very competitive and at Christmas time we stack all our board games on the buffet table and have at it all season long. We also keep a log of who played what on, what day and who won 🎄☃️
