Just the right amount of decorations- so many home tours have way too much stuff in the home and everything looks brand new- almost like you're inside of a store instead of a home. Yours looks great and not overdone- simple and elegant! Keep it up!

I so agree with you about some of the homes that have way too much stuff-its like they overdosed on hobby lobby and kirkland goods. Linda's home decor style is defintely simple and elegant.

I LOVED that you only had the music playing. I've seen so many others that talk all the way through their tours. No...playing music by itself is so peaceful and you SEE everything much better. I loved it!!

I have been anxiously awaiting your Christmas house tour and was certainly not disappointed! Your home is soooo beautiful! If I could pick just one house to emulate, it would be yours. I live vicariously through Christmas these years for many reasons. However, in my younger, more spry years, I did make ornaments, bake, and cook. My goal was to make my home look precisely like yours. I never quite achieved the perfection you have, but yours was the look I wanted. I do hope your third-grade teacher watched and saw just how much you valued her gift. If you feel the love, warmth, and Christmas spirit that is projected in your video, then you know you have captured the magic of the season. It was magnificent! May you and yours have a joyous and wonderful Christmas!

You and Willow are certainly spoiled for choice of stunningly decorated and cozy rooms to sit in and enjoy the views!!! Every one a winner from your front room to the dining room to the kitchen and butler's pantry to the tavern and your master bedroom. I would never leave the house if I were you. And you can tell how much hard work you put into it, although you make it look easy!

I love the nativity set. I have one that is almost 70 years old and I cherish it. I rearranged it daily as a little child while it's music box played Silent Night. My grandchildren do the same now.

Hi, I’ve been making candles for over 15 years. A tip I wanted to share, when you extinguish the candle quickly tip the top of the wick in the melted wax and you won’t get that smoky billowing up.

I have never done a garland. I found one with sugared fruit and my husband bought it for me. I put it on the fireplace securing it with eye rings. I bought stars to light it and a new Angel for our table top tree. My paper chain was made with a pretty calendar. The lines are easy to cut. I put angels on the mantle. I am using an expensive white teapot for velvet poinsettias. And I have the paper tree I made like your tree. Mine had 500 pages and does not lend well to fraying. I put gold spayed gum tree balls on top. I have a copper flying pig in my bedroom hanging from a vent. My nativity is from a can someone laser cut, paper pop up nativities and a ceramic one from a special Ed class from 1970. My Dad made the barn/manger.
