In this video, I am showing you -
1. How I embedded a triangle (representing a tree) made of melt & pour soap, in the cold process soap.
2. How I painted deer on the soap using the soap dough & mica.
To embed the triangle shapes -
I poured a thin layer of soap batter first. Then I embedded the soap in it. After that, I poured the rest of the soap batter on top of it. I cut it like a regular cold process soap & moved to the next process.
To paint the soap -
I used a stencil made of Cricut transfer tape. I used my Cricut joy to cut the stencil. I aligned the stencil with the edges of the soap to make sure it is placed in the right place.
Transfer tape is a tape, so it made good contact with the soap. After that, I used the soap dough and filled it in the stencil. After this, I mixed green mica with alcohol (Isopropanol) and kept the consistency thick, so it does not bleed when I use it to paint the soap. I used a painting brush to paint the layer of soap dough by just tapping it.
Once painted, lift off the stencil carefully so the soap dough & color does not smudge on the soap.
