I have been following you for years. I separated after 23 yrs. I have been single for 6 yrs because I had been so badly abused. I am in my early 50’s. I am now with a man from High School. This is our first Christmas together. I can’t wait to wow him with my talent thanks to you. You have taught me how to get a high end look on a budget. I currently live with my 75 yr old widowed Mom. Every year we go all out for Christmas. My family & friends have always been blown away with how I decorate. You truly are an inspiration and I want you to know that. I wish you happiness and love this holiday season & beyond. It’s never easy starting over but it’s totally worth it in the long run. Keep posting & I will forever be a fan. 💞

I use cable ties to attach the stand of my tree to a wire plant stand on wheels so I can wheel my tree around for cleaning, repositioning etc. I look for the ones with a lock on one wheel to hold it still when needed.

I had a collection of really beautiful Christmas decorations which were stored in my daughters garage attic, they all disappeared. I could never replace them, but I hate not having a tree, so I bought a 2 foot flocked tree which I’ll display on a Bombay chest, now just have to buy some ornaments. I’m so eager to see what you have planned for your new home. I’ve no doubt about how lovely it will be.

My Christmas tree skirt this year is going to be the bottom part (skirt) of my mom's wedding dress, it's a beautiful white simple vintage wedding dress it has beautiful crystals on it, not too over the top, just enough to shimmer. We gently took it apart from the bodice and sewed the edges, so it doesn't unravel. It's been the best tree skirt we could have come up with, something we look forward to using every year.

Gorgeeeeeous! Rebecca, I love your style of Christmas decor. It is what I aspire to. When I first watched your channel years ago, I remember thinking I have those same bejeweled hanging snowflakes with the tea lights, too! Love, love, love it! It is truly breathtaking!!! I’ve used a bridesmaid dress as a tree skirt several times😊. I also put white poinsettias all around to give the illusion of snow. As presents go under the tree the white poinsettias go to different locations around our home. Then when the festivities are over… back go the florals. My family loves it. 🙂

Stringing several different sizes of ornaments together really help fill out the tree including in those bare spots we all seem to have on our trees (whether artificial or real). Using enough clumps of ornaments together also speeds up the decorating process.

Awaiting eagerly the grand piano reveal! Nice to have the contrast between "More is Better" style of X-mas decor here & the "Less is More" style at Sharrah's (sp?) I've see-sawed between camps over the years but am amazed at how calming my good friend's house is with her simple greens interspersed with a few prized European ornaments, Nutcrackers collected over time.

One year I found a vintage ball gown that was a little sun bleached on the top. I cut off the skirt, which has a beautiful red on the inside and a deeper mix of shimmering red and dark blue on the other side, I can switch to either side; it's a perfect tree skirt. I've also switched and only use rechargeable batteries when needed. Rebecca, I've been using your advice for years and always look forward to new ideas. Cheers!

I love it 😍. I’ve always wanted a flocked tree! I did a tree years ago where I clumped together ornaments that match my living room colors. Peach, blue and creamy white accented with gold. I still tucked in my children’s childhood ornaments but the tree didn’t look like a tree my children wanted. I loved it 😍 That was 1987 I think. I still get excited when it’s time to put up the tree. ❤️

We have done grouping of Christmas ornaments like this at our home. We do a pretty traditional tree with multiple kinds of ornaments with icicles to add the glitz. Just love watching your videos and getting new ideas and clues how to do things easier thank you for the pipe cleaner Tip

I’ve been doing the cardboard thing for years under the tree-also helps to level the tree out. This year it’s a Tree Farm theme-4 foot, 3 foot, and 2 foot burlap trees surrounded by smaller trees-all artificial- in a forest setting-and my Dept. 56 tree farm lighted houses-all set up on a 5-6 foot long sturdy folding table. All trees will be lit -but only bigger trees will be decorated with ornaments and greens. Looking for spinners-really like that idea. Your videos are fantastic!👍🎄

I never thought of decorating the ceiling above the tree -- that's a really lovely effect! Your style isn't my style, but I do like the jewel tones, and I can appreciate the thought, planning and effort you put into creating an amazing moment!

Rebecca, I put up 3 trees and they are all different. I have a traditional green tree in the foyer, a white tree in my living room and a black tree in my black and white den room. The white tree you have here is gorgeous. The tree decorating tip you mentioned, which I love, is the animated ornament!! It gives the tree LIFE!!! Love, love, love this!! Thank you!!

I love it! You should mention that the design sessions make a very great gift. Especially for people who are trying to declutter or minimalist. It doesn't need wrapping, takes up no space in your home, and is useful. Many of us refuse to splurge on ourselves this time of year, so I think it is perfect for a child with a new apartment, a mother-in-law you don't know well yet, a grandma who doesn't need anymore nightgowns, anyone! Beat your own drum, toot your own horn...tell everyone to give design sessions for a gift this year!!

I use my dog's tartan plaid flannel blanket for my tree skirt. The dog still lays on it under the tree. I love it!

I hope that you are going to talk about your ceiling treatment - I would love to know how you adhered them to the ceiling. I assume they are battery operated. PS - Love the flocked tree with jewel tone ornaments

The starburst lights are hardwired... Battery operated would not have lasted the season. The wires are staple gunned to the ceiling... between the headboard seams. the cords are hidden behind the tree. It took some manuvering but its pretty well camouflaged overall. Be sure to watch my outdoor decorating video... posting the day after the home tour video. I dangle 18 of those light balls from my 100 year old maple tree. Its pretty stunning! :-) RR

Love the jewel tones and the clusters! I put my 7.5 up on a table due to my toddler granddaughter. I used what I had, but bought twinkle lights and spinners after a year of watching your videos. Everytime I put an ornament inside the tree I thought of you! 😉🦌🎄🥰❤

I never use traditional tree skirts and usually use large throws…..but, never have I ever thought of using a window curtain panel…I have so many….linen would be great, or a voile layered over a heavier curtain! Thank you! 🎄

I learned to decorate my Christmas tree through Ms. R via KZfaq years ago. The outcome had me decorating three trees for two other (momma's and sister's) households! Now that I've moved a good distance away I am back to one. Lol I just love your videos.

I absolutely love baubles in clusters. They always make such a dramatic statement. And makes those smaller sizes “come up” lol. The jewel tones are GORGEOUS!!! As always you make Christmas more BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

I use a round tablecloths as tree skirts under 2 small tree and sheer curtain panels as a tree skirt under my larger tree.

I love fabrics under a tree MUCH better than a skirt. I love having the scrunch, and ripples around under the tree. I make snow scenes incorporated too.

I love this theme. Last year I put my UE Boom in my tree and played music from my phone. I had a twinkling, animated, musical tree, it was magical.

The idea of putting the ornaments in clusters on a pipe cleaners is genius!! For storage the ornaments could be taken down and stored that way and be so much easier for decorating year after year. And can we talk about the fact that if the ornament clusters were in breakable

I always look forward to your Christmas decorating! Love your tree and decor. I bought the spinners from Amazon last year, but they wouldn’t spin the ornaments. I used the incandescent lights, but no spinning!

I think I'm good, I have been collecting musical instruments since last yr to recreate this tree. I'm using a vintage sliver tree along with the vintage color wheel that came with it (from the 60's), musical insturments in brass, silver, wood (which I spray painted gold/silver) and gold tones. Cobalt blue balls and matching color ribbons. Navtivity scenes along with the three wise men throughout the house.
