I was raised Catholic, and I've never known any Catholics to call Mass a "service." Catholics refer to their service as the Mass. Also, I've never known of a Catholic Church that has Wednesday Bible studies--that's a totally Protestant, usually Evangelical, thing.

So it is not one of the debates or conversations on religion that sprang from that. I also hesitate to call this a 'debate' since Donahue has no clue what that means. He just lets rip with a tirade of childish insults. The priest who organised the event is visibly embarrassed. In fairness to the priest moderating the event, he at least had the decency to look horribly embarrassed at Donahue's dazzling display of crassness.
